I wanted someone with proven ability, BBS. That's what would fill me with confidence that he will actually make a difference to our team. I'm not saying I wanted SWP because I didn't at all but, as I said earlier, when we were promised an exciting, goalscoring winger this morning, I'm sure Kakuta won't have been on anyone's wishlists (especially those people dreaming of having Adam Johnson in the team).

T, I must admit I was quietly hoping for a fancy Brazilian with a name like Ganso or Neymar - Pedro Leon would have done. But the more I think about it, Kakuta is pretty much what we need anyway.

I'm not trying to be a doom and gloom merchant boys, I was just expecting a lot more from today I guess. I do hope I'm proved wrong and he becomes another Wilshere and I'll be happy to eat my words if that happens.
