And the mystery man is............Gael kakuta. Badumptcha.
Rowbot, fair play for your speed.
Thanks, BBS
Brian Swanson mentioned it on SSN. Wasn't really listening originally so had to rewind.
Sharp hearing!
Has it been announced? not believing anything until we announce it.....
Moses, Brian Swanson mentioned it on SSN.
Nothing official or anything yet, but he aint normally wrong
good good, just seen it pop up on the SSN vidiprinter.
Also, David N'gog has arrived at the Reebok, couple of hours and done?
If it's Gael Kakuta, it will please Rebel.
He likes "big names".
Good job Gartside has a good rapport with Chelseas' chairman now he's fallen out with Arsenals' !
Rebel won't like it because it's another loan signing.
tuncay > elmander
n'gog < sturridge (but we weren't ever gonna get better)
kakuta (off potential should be) > rodrigo
eagles > taylor
reo-coker > cohen
mears > j'ob
boyata > jls
I give this transfer window an A+.
Rebel wont like it as it is another non big name signing to be fair from what Chelsea fans are saying i don't think he will improve our current squad at all and will be mainly a bench player so i am with Rebel here not impressed at all

We need bench players or Robbie Blake will be sat on it.
Would someone mind explaining to me how that is a good signing?
He didn't get in Fulham's team so how is he going to get in our's? He isn't really a winger, he certainly isn't a goal scorer and is far too lightweight for the Premier League.
Will be about as successful as Rodrigo.
After how awful we looked at Liverpool we needed a starter not a bench warmer imo i feel slightly let down on this one just be glad to have N'Gog onboard soon
Well, just to add my input - I once asked Kieran trippier (Burnley defender) who the best player he's ever played against is - And he said Kakuta.

Not the best source is it really
It isn't really a source at all. I just thought I'd add what little knowledge I have about the guy.
And for the record, saying that a player who 'couldn't get into Fulham's team' means he isn't good enough for us, is stupidity. Al Habsi couldn't get into our team but he's twice as good as Jussi.
Picking a player is subjective. It doesn't inherently dictate a player's value.
Don't comment on here often, but Diouf's just been released by t'dingles - I'd take him in a heartbeat
BBS this lad seems light weight and not what most fans wanted when we were linked with SWP for months i know cash is tight but we could have got a better player surely.
Just hope this dismal loan signing shows that Cahill is staying put as if he was going we could have spent cash on this position.
Glad we didn't go for SWP, still wrangling over his deal - Moneygrabber!!!
Also, Diouf, just no, not good enough IMO
For starters he's 5'11 which is a pretty standard height for any footballer. He's rapid, which neither Eagles or Petrov are (even though people assume Petrov is quick) so it's anotheroption. We got constantly pushed deeper against City and Liverpool because we had no pace to break at them with.
I'm not saying it's the best signing of all time - But I think it's exactly what we needed. Skinny, rapid playmaker who isn't scared of running with the ball.
bwfc forever (U6480)
Not too sure it is dismal. Kakuta is a unknown quantity to us and to the league. He comes with a glowing reputation from Chelsea fans and management and as far as I am aware, he fit the early morning description - a pacey winger that scores goals
And SWP is a bag of balls. He's lighter, smaller and slower than kakuta. Today isn't 2005 and he's sub-par.
Kakuta all day long.
I hope he shows me wrong but i smell another Rodrigo here simply not good enough for this league.

Speedy winger who scores goals is?
