Actually Not a Bad Weekend

We do and have. 2 top tens and only once below 13th in 5 seasons
Unlike the likes of villa and sunderland who simply battle relegation every season
But good try

2 top tens

Getting 2 top tens is nothing to boast about mate. Crystal palace who are about the same size sort of club and less established than you have made a much better crack at the premier league than you ever. Let's be honest mate westbrom every season are there to just fill the numbers. You are pretty much down at the bottom most seasons battling relegation one way or the other. Maybe not quite as pointless as villa and Sunderland but not far off.

2 top tens

2 top 10 finishes and only once below 13th in the 5 years they've been back in the premier league? Fair play.

I'd call that an established PL side now, so why do they still play like their aiming to finish 17th?

Like I say crystal palace are pretty much a similar size club to brom but have shown how it's done as have stoke. Westbrom just make up the numbers and you would pass through a season and barely remember them

Again I'm not trying to be elitist or pretend that Spurs are Bayern Munich in disguise, my point is about Pulis' style of play - or lack of it.

I'm well aware that possession doesn't always correlate into results, but even with the limited possession they have by sitting deep, they don't even pose enough threat on the counter, as the chances created stats show.

Strange comment considering we beat you at WHL last year.
The year before that you had to come back from 3-0 down to grab a point from us.

You must remember them games, no?

last year we walloped you at your place to be fair.

you have taken points off of us recently, yes, but you are a premier league outfit.. that's what happens.

This is such a stupid argument, who cares if West Brom fans think highly of their own team or not!?

Their style doesn't excite me much when I watch them, but who said there is only one way to play football?

They picked up an impressive 4 points from us and Arsenal at home. Fair play.

The gate of 23602 would concern me if I was a baggies fan. That is over 3k under capacity against a top 5 side and it suggests that the fans are losing interest. Maybe a relegation battle is more entertaining than being a typical Pulis type team hovering around 13th?

not surprised they stayed away after the diiiicking down we gave them in that fixture last year

Can't even pretend 23602 isn't a worry.
Albion are in the middle of a transition with Pulis bought in to steady things.
Baggies support split 50/50 as to whether they are happy with the way forward under Pulis and I suppose that shows in attendances.

The spurs game was £42, In the category of 'top teams'

Unsurprisingly it's probably the least attractive of all of the games which will cost more

Next home game is Bournemouth and will be a sell out or very close to

Have palace made a better crack at it? Have they finished as high as we have? No. Infact they've done worse than our first few seasons

We have only battled relegation once. So let's not things up to suit

You could argue we are pointless, just as the likes of Manchester city and man utd would argue you are. As you are unlikely to challenge them

I don't think WBA are pointless and I have far more respect for you than I do for the oil lottery winners but I don't like Pulis (a man in his fifties in a shell suit and baseball cap) and I thought the gate was a bit low. Just wondered if the 2 were linked?

don't let Arsey see that. he wants Pulis to replace Poch as spurs manager

could you ever imagine if spurs were to recruit someone like Pulis

Alderweireld, Fazio, Wimmer, Vertonghen

We've had to tolerate some idiots in charge of our club over the years but thankfully we've not stooped that low.

Edin,

Fine, I may be wrong.

Stop misconstruing the statements people make. Abhorrent trait.

There is no "maybe" about it. You are wrong. Nobody misconstrued anything you said - your statements on the subject were wrong. End of.

There is no forfeit to face. Just accept it and move on...

Oh yeah I forgot Chadli.

Walker and Davies will be on the bench. Walker isn't quite tall enough and Davies doesn't quite have the power and physique to take Kane's spot

How did article descend to this? Surely even the most ardent Albion fan will recognise we're aiming at different short term ambitions?

On paper only, it's 2 points dropped by us and a great point for them. In the context of the game then a draw was fair.

But as per the article, yes, not a bad weekend with the other results.

Off weekend (performance wise) for us, but keep playing as we have been this season and we'll put together a good run at some point.
