There were some good ideas in there, but there were also some lazy ideas. Ultimately giving movies to two different directors who clearly disagreed on the vision of it was just ridiculous, especially given they had freedom to do the actual script too.

Rogue One is a great film. Solo gets slated on a lot but I thought it was a pretty good film, fun watch all in all.

We defo haven’t heard the last of Rey, Finn and Poe.

Rogue 1 was a very good closed story. It loses points for the soundtrack though. Solo needs a sequel otherwise what was the point.

Think they could all be redeemed though with a clear story and stuff. They were interesting characters to begin with until Rey found everything easy, Finn got sidelined and Poe became the funny one

Rogue One for me actually is required watching, and now the first 2hours of a New Hope. Its the best of the standalones but a big margin.

Solo was ok, basically I love it because its Stars Wars, but it is just bang up average

Alright I am starting Clone wars over. Had watched 92 episodes apparently.

I would have thought so. And I just read he is writing another Thrawn trilogy (well 2 written and 1 to go), not sure if he is writing as a Legends book or as canon since he (Thrawn) popped up in Rebels and has been mentioned a few times in Mando.

The Zahn trilogy consists of 3 books:
1.Heir to the empire (1991)
2. Dark force rising (1992)
3. Last Command (1993)

Zahn also has a trilogy focused solely on Thrawn but it's not as good as the other books.

Hold on. Grogu could be the true saviour.
By the time this kid can talk, everyone would be dead.
A whole new generation of characters set 500 years from Mando.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was thinking this a few weeks ago actually!

The "Yoda race" are quite mysterious and popular, so I wonder if they are going to be string out throughout the timeline.

Grogus life would now stretch on through the sith empire of Darth Krayt, right through to the Yuzhong Vong (if Disney go that route..)

Yodas timeline has been largely shown, and we are meant to be getting a "High Republic" series with him in, (and yaddle was around the same time..)

But he could then be linked back to Vandare (another of his race in the Old Republic era) allowing us to finally get some Darth Revan/Jedi civil war content, which of course started with the Mandalorian wars (which would probably prove very popular)

A consistent thread running right through the timeline..

Personally I think Grogu will be the offspring of Yoda/Yaddle

So… these characters you mention, Krayt and Vong, when do they appear? And were they cannon?

Yeah half those names were new to me

Ha! Snap, just about to binge some of Season 2.
This whole season 1 and 2 are rubbish lark, I’ve actually quite liked them. God knows what to expect from the other Seasons….

I think when clone started i guess they were figuring out the audience. At times it seems a little child like but if i recall it gets quite dark later

Anyone else thought it was a little messed up that luke said he was going to help grogu remember his home.. and instead he just shows order 66

I have to admit, having seen season 1 and a bit of 2, and then seeing Cad Bane in Book of Boba was very cool.
I always thought he was human%, nobody ever described to me what he looked like and I never bothered to check.

Could Luke see Grogu’s vision? Cos that would be mental.
The thing I laugh about in that last Ep, was where the hell was Cobb Vanth standing when Mando arrived. Did he turn sideways and hide behind his deputy?!!?
I was like, ‘what the? where the hell you just come from?’

he was just standing incredibly still
