set before the originals, andjust before Rogue One think of it as a rogue one prequel.
A look at the rebellion forming to rise against the Empire. From what I have seen (not seen any episodes yet) its basically early in the story and explaining the the war and who is on on whos side etc. Hopefully they avoid using jedi's in this , Iv been waiting for years for a star wars without the jedi

It’s funny, cos, these 3 Eps are strange. Nothing to do with the story or acting. Not even a spoiler, but Some bright spark knew the first 3 eps had to be dropped together.
Yet where the first 2 eps end, just feels abrupt, not natural. I think they made a 90 min pilot Ep, then cheekily decided to make it 3 eps, by forcing in end credits.
I can relate with this style of packaging. It’s about supply and demand. Making people always wanting more…but just give them a little bit. A Star Wars fiend always gonna come back chasing that dragon.
Basically what I’m saying is, is if Disney knew they were gonna drop all 3 Eps, then why not drop it as I think it was intended, as a 90 min opening.
Why the 3 separate Eps?
They didn’t benefit from it.
Anyhoo.. I’m intrigued. Let’s see where this goes.
Have to say though, the leader of the Imperial team already has much more character than General Hux ever did!!
just released and only a 8.3, not a good sign is it?

It proves how bad the sequel movies were managed.
They were so bad it was unbelievable, even the actress who played Rey panned all of them and said it kinda ruined her acting career.
I wonder if they will continue with any lore from the sequel movies nor will just quietly move on pretending they never happened?!
8.3, I think is a bit high. I’m at 7/10.

I think it's so viewers are not thrown off by having a 90 minute episode and then shorter ones in the subsequent weeks. It's all about delivering a product that's consistent and high quality to the fans and there is certainly value in having a format that fans can adjust to and rely on.
I'll be watching tonight.
I presume no spoilers until next week?

Hmm, ok Guv, yeh I guess that could be the reasoning.

Nobody has the power like Star Wars, to simply say, ‘Episode X - coming summer 2024’

Why the 3 separate Eps?
They didn’t benefit from it.
Anyhoo.. I’m intrigued. Let’s see where this goes.
Have to say though, the leader of the Imperial team already has much more character than General Hux ever did!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It proves how bad the sequel movies were managed.
They were so bad it was unbelievable, even the actress who played Rey panned all of them and said it kinda ruined her acting career.
I wonder if they will continue with any lore from the sequel movies nor will just quietly move on pretending they never happened?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
God knows. I for one, can’t believe they’ll never make another Episodic trilogy set of films.
Nobody has the power like Star Wars, to simply say, ‘Episode X - coming summer 2024’
Half the planet would lose their damn fool minds!
To know you have that power in your hands, but you’re not gonna go there anymore, that’s a travesty.
They need to right their wrongs. And do right by us!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
True dat!
They also need to calm down on the woman great and men bad narrative..
No one cares, people just want to see good films

Now that’s an even truer statement.
