But that's surely the point of the Solo movie? If you're getting an origin movie for Han Solo, you want to know how he became a smuggler, how he met chewie, how he got the falcon.

Reason for optimism. After TLJ though, I’m inclined to wait for the audience reaction before getting really excited though. Critics have gone nuts for all the new SW films basically!

Of course they are going to say good things, they want to keep being invited to these events

I will wait for genuine fans to give their reviews. My expectations are still as low as ever

I’m not overly keen but then again I wasn’t for Rogue one either and that was excellent.

From what I've read the only good parts are the usual few fun action scenes, and Han meeting Chewie. As I don't trust Kathleen Kennedy with the treatment of the old characters I think I'm gonna give this one a miss

I just can’t get excited for solo. Probably won’t go see it till it’s movie of the week and it’s $3 cheaper.

Heading to the cinema today. Going in with average expectations despite the lacklustre reviews.

That's exactly what I done. In all honesty I didn't find it offensive in any way, just a bit generic. Didn't feel like a SW movie. It was fine.
