Yeah it was a bit of a cheap thrill, but I must be cheap as it thrilled me. Probably the only thing in a fairly mediocre movie that gave me a bit of excitement

Having finally understood how this character came back, i didnt mind it. But had i not watched/read the other stuff, i wouldve been like ‘wtf’.
Obviously setting up for a sequel... but shouldnt it of been Jabba?..
So apparently there was a post credits scene... i had already jumped to lightspeed, but did anybody else catch it?

Also the mystery reveal at the end for some reason has left me disappointed. We've seen what happens to his character and how his arch comes to an end. Will they just regurgitate what has occurred in other mediums or will they completely ignore that?

I love the character and I have always been a fan but let's move one and try something new.

I dunno, I'm more interested in seeing a sequel now as we can have him and Jabba working together now. Certainly with 15mins left I had no thought for any more Solo, but that one appearance opened up a nice story line for me

well this is gonna be interesting now, as i'm sure this film, doesn't make 600 million total worldwide.
so that would be regarded as a financial flop...
i'll be amazed if it does 350m domestic (US) and 300m International...

agreed Guv, There is so much wealth of diverse characters and stories to be told in that galaxy....
It doesn't have to feel so small with coming back to our favourites all the time.
They had their story. It got told in a brilliant way.

Obi-Wan is interesting, only cos its Ewan. and everyone wants to see him again as Kenobi.

but yes, its a blank canvas. a film makers dream...
lets see what Favareau does, and Rian Johnson and the Game of Throne dudes.
maybe just maybe, they might hit gold...

but as Guv says, even though i don't mind a Kenobi movie, its still a finite idea in a world full of infinite possibilities...

If they did an Obi film it would have to cover the Darth Maul storyline , which seems to have been in the cartoon.
