My current ranking of the live action shows:
1. Mando season 2
2. Andor
3. Mando season 1
4. Obi Wan
5. Book of Boba

At least BoB had the mando stuff that was pretty decent at the end.
Obi Wan was just a huge slap to the fans face. that had a lot to live up to at least BoB only had the pressure of the success of Mando on it.
Obi Wan had that and also the pressure of the fanbase desperate for that story to be filled in.
For me the expectance from the fans for OBi -1 was deservedly soo high that it made it all the worse they were so far off the mark with it.

If you've watched all the live action SW products and all the animated shows, the only people that can call you a casual are die hard snobs or as is commonly known, the toxic portion of a fanbase.

I havent watched all the animated stuff. not seen any of bad batch, and the arrangement of clone ward not being chronological annoyed me to much to watch them all!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I watched them in release order and I loved it. The event order didn't really bother me because when the important arcs occur, it's obvious where we are in the story.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah I get that it ties in with the overall story quite obvisously but having zero continuity between the next episode and the other killed it for me.
the bit where the next episode had absolutely zero to do with the previous episodes or any other in that series meant that it just didnt do it for me.
I still have no idea why they thought it would be better done that way.... especially when they were made at a time where producers knew that in 15/20 year time people will wanna binge watch them separately to the overall story.
I can easily say they got it wrong cos it shouldnt be a hard sell for me to watch it at the very least once, and I havent.

I do appreciate that I liked OB1 more than most people on here but surely it was better than BoB! The only time BoB was good was when Boba wasn't in it! Dreadful series imo and will always be bottom of the pile just for having the biker gang in it.

I dont think a single episode of OB1 was good , not a single one. it had some moments but in terms of good episodes every single one of them missed the mark IMO. at least BoB hand the mando/grogi stuff to save them there was 2 episodes that were basically mando episodes that were better than anything from OB1 IMO.

that and he just lets the other ship go when he could just do what he done literally 5 secs before that !
the next plot that follows that was just unexcusable.
now the biggest problem with that ship they are on is that it doesnt have hyper drive..,. they are flying through space with the destroyer chasing it (more fire power) .... no hyper drive for OB1 and Leah to escape........
well OB1 takes the shuttle on the ship to the planet.... deals with vader THEN wait for it ...... uses the hyperdrive on the damn shuttle that was on the original ship top escape the destroyer !!???! i mean cmon man WT actual F !!

him grabbing the ship is cooler than a slow walk ive seen a hundred times before.
The follows on caused by poor directing is a separate issue.
eg he should have been attacked while grabbing the ship not after, the other ship should have also fled while he grabbed the first or while the fight was occuring with reva
Can’t we just move on from OB1 and Book of Boba, it’s so 2022…
Andor, injected life back into the TV shows, and now we got Mando S3.. we got good vibes going here.
