Yeah it's really frustrating. I read they just announce stuff so their stock price goes up and apparently they get no real downside to this?

It’s possible it’s actually good… from the Trailer, if you were say 8-10 yr old.. would this interest you?
It’s got the Goonies feel and look, set in Star Wars Universe… how can it fail?

Maybe like Andor, this is a project, Kath Kennedy left mans to their own devices.. maybe 🤔

Yeh… it’s abit like Ms Marvel. It wasn’t aimed for me.. but I ended up kinda liking it. I think that was the last good Marvel show they’ve done..

But that’s in another galaxy far far away….
This right heeeeya is the STAR WARS universe, and we got no time for spandex…. Or foolishness!

Yeah completely doing Agatha a disservice there.

Honestly I don't mind the kids shows, they often just lean into being fun rather than trying to take themselves too seriously and heavily dropping the ball instead.

Think we all got burned watching the Acoshyte. Agatha did witches better with superior music to the 'power of many' nonsense.

Agree about the kids shows just leaning into being fun. I'm curious to see how much of it actually feels like Star Wars. Agatha didn't feel like a Marvel show which helped it imo, curious to see if the same is true of this.

Rebels was a kids show, or at least started as one, and I enjoyed that. As long as the characters are engaging and the storyline well considered, that’ll do for me. I have a low bar with SW atm.

Skeleton Crew Ep 1 - 🤔….

I’ll give it a solid 8.0.
The production was brilliant, and the vibe, just feel good.
Yeh, kinda rips off Goonies… but man, if you gonna imitate, then go big, and imitate one of greats.
But a good start…

Based on this 1st Ep, if I was a kid, I would be loving this … still early doors and plenty room to fook up.
But I think it was a solid start, and already surpasses many Disney SW shows, just based on looks alone.

It’s a strange feeling, but I think they actually put some care into this.

Interesting will watch the two eps later.
