It’s a lot of things rolled into one... but I think it would be described as Goonies/ET/StandbyMe/Star Wars/Flight of the Navigator/Peter Pan/Treasure island/ Spielberg inspired.

But done well.

Flight of Navigator was possibly my fave film as a kid. Ill check it out

Not SW as we know it... but it’s set in the Star Wars galaxy.. but with its, what I think is now a very compelling plot/maguffin, it’s very much Star Wars.

I know the bar is low when it comes to the TV shows... and the movies... but now after 3 Eps, this show could be a genuine hit.
It’s just got that aura of good fantasy storytelling..

I think I've missed the twist

Jude Law has the same name as another character but he's not the same person.

Have to say series is looking good so far.

As been said, they establishing the story, the maguffin..
what’s at play is really compelling/interesting..
all the actors are good. The effects, direction, pacing is on point.
And we still got Bryce Dallas episode to come…

This show could really end up being pretty great.

So far, so good.
Did you know it cost the 130m to make.
Still a lot for 8 episodes, but at least you can say, ‘yeh, I can see the money spent’

It’s possibly the best work of any Disney SW show.
Everything is hitting the mark.
Sure, there’s the odd nitpick, but nothing fatal.

Powers 1-5 maybe? Though not sure how we do it that the power of 2 is the worst of the worst, obviously not to be confused with the "rule of 2", or we can just all agree to retcon it?
