The Empire phased clones out and hired regular humans to be stormtroopers. I doubt many of the Jango clones are left and at this point in the story, cloning technology hasn't become advanced enough.

Going to be really interesting in seeing how they create a credible threat of Thrawn.

If I were to guess, they'll be two approaches:

1) Thrawn outsmarts/outmanoeuvres the New Republic. I'm thinking the NR might follow a line of appeasement, Thrawn presents an acceptable face to the NR whilst having grander plans. So he keeps taking the concessions of the NR whilst refusing to stop and grows his followers.

2) Talzin returns to provide the fear as lead for the NS and possible control over a undead stromtrooper army. She kills Baylan as a show of strength and a credible counter-point for Ahsoka. Then in S2 she adds Ventress into the mix which moves it beyond Ahsoka and develops the need for Luke.

So in a film you'd almost have 3 battles going on:
1) Thrawn v's NR
2) Talzin/Ventress v's Ahsoka/Luke
3) Undead army v's NR Army and (I suspect) the mandalorians

Ventress is dead and I believe that's canon, so I don't see her coming back.

Who is this Ahsoka you all speak of? what episode was she in?

Just seen the episode on my lunch there, was away all week. So catching up on everything.

didnt like that episode much at all. Thought Thrawns entrance was underwhelming. Still not a fan of either Sabines character or the actress playing her... not sure yet. The writing for her aint the best either however as has been pointed out.

Baylans character continues to grow which I like.

The troopers looked amazing.

Its still considerably better than the likes of OB1 and BoB

Yeh the gold and stuff on the ships is a really nice touch - basically saying we have been stuck out here for 10 years with Naff all. Was actually waiting for a nice twist that Ezra was in fact one of the Storm Troopers, and had been living under Thrawns nose the entire time.

But no we get this weakass character arc with Sabine, and her making very questionable decisions, which is weird cos her Rebels character was much better

oh and the ezra and sabine re-uniting was fecking dreadful !!

I'm not sure Sabine had many other options, if she tried to destroy the map thing she'd probably have failed and she'd be dead now.

Can't really blame her for wanting to have a moment with Ezra before unloading everything that's happened to her. Think it's a fairly natural coping mechanism.

just a pity the whole her meeting him seemed way off.... absolute zero chemistry, cheesy but not in the way we want it. IMO it missed the mark big time. that point and thrawns reveal are pretty much what we have been building to this whole show s far and to me it was pretty weak on both fronts

Yeah there wasn't the raw sexual chemistry that I was expecting, but I would only have been jealous of Ezra anyway
