Some of the figures I'm seeing here for a Travel Agency are a little bonkers. I'm struggling to see how one agency could be making enough to pay out multiples of millions in commission alone.
Is everyone that desperate to get out of Australia?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok do a google search to see how much profit Flight Centre made last year, it was $367m, go check it out
A lot of people have money here, we get paid a ton more than in England, minimum wage is $17.58/hour last time I heard. A lot more than £5.85 or whatever it is now! People have money and they like to travel!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
'Pre-Tax'. When you're earning those figures, it's going to be highly taxed. That's also across over 2,500 agencies globally, bringing in an average profit of £146,800 per office. Why would they be paying Lynne in your department £50k a month in commission if the office only brings in £146,800?
======================================
Arro? How does the Flight Centre on an operating annual profit of £190k per centre give away monthly commissions of £50k upwards?

Err no, you just use incorrect terminology. Which for someone with such a high IQ, is confusing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I didn't!! You misunderstood the terminology!!
Flight Centre get paid commission from the airlines and suppliers and I made the company over $6k in comm on that booking for Flight Centre. I never said I made $6k bonus!!
I used the correct terminology but again this just highlights how thick you are

Salary AU$23,755 - AU$43,806
Commission AU$1,771 - AU$33,237
Total Pay AU$30,891 - AU$55,296
Above is the average pay for an employee at Flight centre in Oz.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So basically Lynne is earning over 20 times the average

Commission is your personal cut of money you make the company. Margin is the difference between a buying and selling price. It's not that hard.

Maybe Lynne makes extra cash blowing F1 drivers while arro is almost banging their wives

I feel like we haven't really touched on arro's construction project management roles yet. Must have been a huge and fascinating chapter of this brightly coloured life.

Arro may overstate his teams qualities (dont we all?)
but i dont know why people question what he says, some people do have interesting and adventurous lives you know!
jealousy i guess
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know mate I agree
I'm being mocked for;
Being lucky enough to play for my club as a schoolboy
Going to numerous F1 GP's including inside the pits at Suzuka, where I had to use my knowledge of Japanese to find my mate.
I've been given educationals and free holidays, visited 65 countries and lived in five. Women used to pay to go out with me and my girlfriend is 14 years younger than me but I look young for my age, people usually say 28-32 but I'll be 40 this year!
Nothing at all to be jealous about and I would rather have lived my life than any of yours!

I think you'd prefer my life mate - it's just like yours but all the numbers are bigger.
