Ha ha, to positive for you
MK Dons £4M and Preston £6M so we could trim the wage bill even more if needed.
why on gods green earth do we want to trim the wage bill to match league1 yo yo clubs.
We want to be raising the wage bill and getting quality in
Honest answer
Are you paying nearly a grand in season tickets
And if so are you happy with what is being dished up each week.
And £13m is a figure plucked out of the air by p hay, where do you think he got his info from
No more signings apparently....at least that wage bill will be kept down
Why not raise the wage bill to where it was in 2002, we could then bring in lots of over paid players with no guarantee what so ever of success.
If we reduce the wage bill anymore we will be in league one....is that ok by you?
Over priced season tickets and poor football is the norm for us Leeds fans and obviously I am not happy with this to put it mildly. But the only real way out of this mess which has been ongoing for too long is to get the finances right, which we havent done since we were relegated from the Premiership.
You do know crowds are dropping rapidly because the side is garbage because of lack of investment
As it did in the mid 1980s, I remember players such as Ken De Mange and the gate falling to below 15000. Get the finances right and stop bleeding money has to be the first point to sort out as if you dont you will go bankrupt.
How did the club get out of the mess of the 80s
By investing money in the side.
Ken De Mange - Ronnie Robinson, David Harle, John Buckley, we were a joy to watch.
crikey adritk.....proper throw back to those days
He's ripping fans then isn't he, because we pay more than any other club, probably outside the top 4 of the premier league, yet our wage bill is tiny and turn over of 25m says it all when Bates had it over 30m!!!
Shockingly poor running of a football club and is killing the club, ask season ticket holders and regual goers. It's dying a slow painful death under Cellino.
But all is not lost, next season is the season we aim for promotion........
or is that 2 year plan going to be put back another year?
Hull £38M
And look where they are in the table, you need to invest to stand a chance, if you don't then expect mediocre to ballshite football.
Peter Swan Bob Taylor Neil Aspin Mark Hazellwood,.
It is a fine line between investment and bankruptcy and cost cutting and keeping the fans happy. Cellino doesnt care about us fans which is obvious and is just cutting costs. My hope is he goes but if he doesnt then this is the first stage to stability and then we can strengthen and build a team to compete at the top level.
i believe there are clubs in our league where its more expensive than Leeds, anyone got the time to see where we stand,
Going further back i remember us selling Tony Currie and replacing him with Kevin Hird and swapping John Hawley who got 20 goals the previous season with Wayne Entwistle.
Bar 4-5 seasons the last 40 have been hard watching Leeds.

This club is being sapped not just by Cellino, but by a long list of chancers, shysters and potless wannabees. It started with the overstretching in the prem and has continued ever since.
My honest feeling is that we struggle for a credible new owner because of the web of intrigue around our finances .......
It's painful, it's horrible - and that's just the football. We all want something to inspire us in terms of the footy, but I fear we're someway off that.
I truly want to believe that we're seeing stability brought to the club financially, before we move forward with investment and hopefully success. Whether that's true or not only time will tell. Unless we get lucky with a bunch of cheap signings who prove to be revelations, plus the development of kids which makes us excel on a budget, then we're staying where we are in this league.
The teams at the top generally have a theme to them ... they've invested in known quality when it comes to players. Not a guarantee of success, but it sure helps.
Leeds Untied value for money? to be fair its pretty awful!
I agree with his stance on wages
------
The stance that has meant that we've lost Byram whilst retaining Luke Murphy.
How many Cat A games have we had? Every game seems to be Cat A now and it's showing in home & away fans at ER. The prices to watch Leeds are more than any other club on average match day ticekts. There was 20k last Sat....that's awful for 3pm kick off and it's down to rubbish football and sky high prices.
A 18 year old Championship player offered £12K a week by GFH. So to keep him we needed to offer him what, £15K-£20k a week
Like I say I agree with his stance on wages!!!!!
