thanks for letting us win yesterday Android, much appreciated
Mourinho trying to sign Stones seems like so long ago now doesnt it, where did it all go wrong?

Jose trying to sign Stones
Taking the bait boys <hooked>
Money can't buy John Stones
Would have been up there with Shevchenko as our worst buy ever.
You are right, good job Jose gave up the chase.
So glad we never bought Stones for that money. At the time I said it was too much money for an over rated player and we could get better for half the price on the continent.
I think the fact he is now being kept out of the 1st team by a foreign player backs that up.
And to be honest we already have one in Christensen, but instead of being here he's having a storming season in the Bundesliga!
Imagine Jose chasing the wrong player
I know, Costa was a bad choice
As crap as we are i'm glad we didn't go chasing Wigan for Kone.
Brummie you're right. Stones for £40 million or more would have been a joke. There are much better CB's out there who we could get for significantly less or just bring back Christensen for free although don't think we can this summer sadly.

I'm not with you on that Sidey, he's playing to a very high standard apparently in Germany even against Bayern.
Another case of Chelsea not trusting in the youth system that's showing the rest of the country the way!
Zouma (signed for £12m) can't be used as an example of trusting youth, yet Lukaku (signed for £18m) can be used as an example of not trusting youth
Either both can be used as sample size or neither can.
It appears money can buy Kurt Zouma

I don't consider Lukaku as part of our youth - just a player I believe we fecked up letting go and keeping inferior players!
When I think of our youth products, I think of players like RLC, Baker, Swift, or Solanke, ie players that have actually come through the youth system and not bought as 18/19 year olds from other clubs!
So nothing special since Terry then
Unless you count Bertrand who played in a Champions League final!!
Where is he playing now?
I'm sure it was his debut that year/in his first CL game? He should have pushed on and made himself a legend after that showing
He should really be cementing down a place at Chelsea after that.
Instead they go out and but a player ready made, sad times
