Would feel alot more confident with emre, sakho and origi(for the away leg atleast)
Adam...yeah, but Studge aint a bad replacement up front and we just need Toure to be "on it" for the away leg, pretty sure the Anfield crowd will carry the players through the home leg.
What if you win the first and then lose the second 5-0...
It's going to be a big ask with injuries/suspensions mounting up again.
The beauty of cup football is you don't have to win games though.
3 draws and 1 penalty shoot out could us see in the CL next season.
The players just need to show the same spirit they have to date and hope our quality attackers do the business on the day.
Won't be easy though.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
depends if we win the first leg 5-0 or not? otherwise we would be out...
Not good at maths are you?
I am worried about the away leg...
it feels a bit like we have all relaxed after beating united and Dortmund. I just hope we are still in the tie on Friday morning and then get ourselves up for another one of 'them' Anfield nights...
I dont think we will do it the easy way!
We need to forget the league. Just do enough to finish 7th as a backup Europe plan.
Wonder what team Klopp will pick. The 3 AM's work well with Origi but not so much with Sturridge so maybe Allen will play with Milner and Lucas with Firmino on bench.
At the back I am happy with Kolo.
How would anything concerning United be a "decent" season for Liverpool?
I think it will be Lucas, Milner and Allen in midfield with Cout, Firmino and Sturridge up top.
Kolo at the back.
Let's do this!!!
I would say the odds are fairly short actually...leicester will win the title 2. liverpool should win the europa..cp have a fair chance of beating man u in the cup final and 4.and united will finish outside the top 4 so i would give about than 5-1 on that 4.....
Or maybe Lucas at the back with Lallana coming in.
If we don't know then neither do Villareal!

why not, I never mentioned the first leg you defensive donut of course it depends on the first score, thats what I was alluding to the whole premise of my comment was that maybe it would not be 2 wins to the CL spot because if you lose one of the first two games 10 nil you wont have a chance of the second win... thick scouser lol

Milner, Allen and Lallana will get destroyed IMO. Need Lucas in there.

^^^ THIS PLEASE!
I really dont want Milner in the middle in 2 (CM) we looked exposed against Dortmund and (its easy to forget) but early on against Everton. Play the 3 MF/3 AM and Kolo at the back to replace Sakho.

I think you should win the competition, much as it pains me to say.
Seville and Villarreal really aren't all that.
They wouldn't get destroyed Kash that's just Hyperbole.
Villarreal are one of lowest average possession teams in La Liga. They don't really look to dominate midfield.
They are direct to their front two in a 4-4-2.
These games won't be anything like the Dortmund games.
Only 1 of the things mentioned in the 'decent season if' actually has anything to do with Liverpool
next year is your year GB
Just a few facts on Villarreal:
They sit fourth in La Liga having accumulated 12 points more than Sevilla – the side many fans wanted to avoid.
No side has scored more Europa League goals than them in this campaign;
Domestically, they have beaten Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid at home, and held Barcelona to a 2-2 draw.
Danger men:
BRUNO SORIANO:
shield for the defence;
deadly from set-pieces;
Can run games if given the chance;
DENIS SUAREZ:
Suarez is the sort of tricky, diminutive wide midfielder Spain has become renowned for;
Good touch, works well in tight pockets of space and will be their most creative outlet;
CEDRIC BAKAMBU:
23 goals in all competitions – including nine in the Europa League, making him the competition’s second-highest scorer;
Strong, frighteningly quick and can obviously finish.

BUT..Are they better than Dortmund??
I do think we'll win barring a keeping disaster.
If anyone thinks a Spanish side will stand a chance in the Europa are seriously diluted. Sevilla and Villarreal are Championship/League 1 standard at best
I don't think we'll win in Spain but hopefully the crowd will be up for it at Anfield which could push us over the line.
The incentive we've had in the previous game (United and Dortmund being massive clubs) has now gone as Villarreal aren't exactly an enormous club which European history like the other two and the players only ever seem up for it in the biggest games.
