Id rather win cup than finish 4th. However both would be better. Hahaha
SE85
I still wouldn't class that as finishing strongly.
Not an easy place to win at though. They wont roll over for city like some would.
Believe.
I don't think anyone can judge City on today. That side will never be put out again by any manager ever.
Norwich at home in their last home game in the season in a must win game for them will be mega tough. Especially with the knowledge they beat us earlier this season.
Accrington Stanley would be tough for us. 3 wins does seem unlikely. Not impossible though.
I think we'l beat both Norwich and Bournemouth. Don't see us getting anything at West Ham though which is also a problem as that would let them overtake us.
But like I said, I really couldn't care about top 4 now anyway. What does it really help us achieve next season?

It helps us attract the type of players we'll likely need to get better. The pull of the CL could make all the difference
I'm not convinced it makes THAT much of a difference.

Absolutely no chance of Arsenal beating City, however suspect City have been at times.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal have absolutely nothing to play for and there is no pressure on them. This should mean they can start playing like Barcelona 2011.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal to catch Spurs is something to play for, just not sure if that lot understands the rivalry and importance to the fans
I don't think top players would be put off joining us in Europa league. ADM n falcao came when we didn't have Europe at all.

Those two aren't really good examples though. One was washed up and the other only came because his first choice couldn't afford him and we babysat him for a year
We want to be dining at the top table and that means being in the CL. I agree with SE 85 though: I'd rather win the FA Cup this season.
It's a difficult one, because not getting top four could see a change in management and we could be better for it but getting top four would see Van Gaal keep his job and we still stagnate.
I'm indifferent, I just hope we win the FA Cup. It's been too long.
Ideally we get top four and Jose.
Chelsea are going to struggle big time attracting players if European football is an issue
We can afford to pay players more than their current cl teams can.
Its not all about the CL. Only one team can come away happy from it per season anyway.
I think if we paid 61m for Griezmann, even with.atletico in CL and us not, he'd still consider it.
We've always struggled to attract the biggest names sadly. Even with CL. We may have to go for the lesser known names this summer. I see zero reason why Griezmann would join us.
He's a United fan, to be fair.
Money is an advantage for us but the fact we are yet again struggling to get top four doesn't bode well for prospective signings - it's not all about money, some actually have sporting ambition, believe it or not.
I actually think we'd be able to sign better players with Mourinho as manager and no CL than Van Gaal as manager and CL.
Purely on the basis that we won't get Zlatan if Van Gaal stays.

What's the difficult choice there???
I think the Jose/Mendes thing would help us CL or no CL. Sanches would come and maybe Gomes. Who else is exciting and on his books?
Aguero Silva kompany and yaya all signed for city before they were CL I think.
Its sometimes about where a club is heading. We have some bright players. I could see a player like Reus, griezmann etc still seeing us as a good option. If we get Jose even more so.
The difficult one being it'd mean we'd have Mourinho as manager.
Can't compare us to City then. They had far more resources than anyone else and were clearly on an upward trajectory, it was inevitable they'd reach the top due to this.
Us on the otherhand, despite our riches, are not on that same upward trajectory. Of course, having this money and being United you'd think that players will still see us as a good destination but it's still not quite the same as City then.
