Let it go already

All very tedious as usual Bute

But yeah tino, it is a lot to happen to a dude at one time and given we probably would have him for one year it would be nice to have zero complications whatsoever given the enormous fee.

Yeah the Luis Alberto story has been about a few weeks halfy.

Just had a good season in Spain.

Wonder if we will be linked to anything other than attacking players.

Attacks the best way traditionally outta this league

I'm cool with it, we needed some midfielders that can actually carry a ball forward and create.

So Talisca only started 6 league games last season

He didn't even come off the bench 13 times?!?

Started 2 champions league games as well.

Begs the question, why is he worth 20 million???

First baby is always an unknown
as you say add in a new country...miles from family and support networks plus a new language

He'll of a lot to deal with
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Or he'll make enough money for him and his wife to be able to pay someone to help. I think they are called 'nannies.'

He is not the first footballer to have a baby and he won't be the last. Can't really believe this is a discussion.

posted on 10/8/16

I can't really believe it is being dismissed so easily.

It isn't about having a baby, it is about having a baby a week before changing your life completely in a foreign country.

It may not be an issue and as you say, the money he makes will make it a little easier, but it is ridiculous to suggest that it couldn't possibly become any kind of factor for somebody.

And that is just one question mark against such a deal, as i have just pointed out above, why is someone that started 8 games all season worth so much?

Why would someone looking to further their career drop down to championship football?

For me this just seems a very risky deal, i just hope it works out.

2/1 faves to sign Alberto according to betvictor.

6/1 joint faves to sign Nugent.

8/1 for Bamford, Celtic 2/1 faves

12/1 Richie De Laet

4/1 joint faves for victor anichebe

What does any of this mean? Feck all.

posted on 11/8/16

Although half of this is based on not a lot i would take DeLaet and Nugent for sure.

We're going to have start combining a home life check with the medical now then.

No players with an impending marriage or child, a celebrity wife etc will be signed. Moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do too. Perhaps we should only sign players who live locally?

I also read a study that people with tattoos are more likely to be rebellious and angry. We should factor that in too.

Narrows down our scouting field, but it should keep Cinci from being bitchy.

Also rule out those who score goals with their heads when the opportunities arise.

I have not seen a single comment suggesting footballers shouldn't have babies
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Male footballers can't have babies. Where's the foetus going to gestate?

You're thinking of female footballers - and obviously playing whilst heavily pregnant wouldn't be advised.

They don't make em like they used to

Steve Bull wanted to be with his wife when she had their first child and she had it overnight on the Friday/Saturday. On Saturday morning he drove himself to Norwich where Wolves were playing and scored the winner

I don't think Cinci at any point said we shouldn't sign players who's partners are expecting....

speaking from my own personal experience having a child does change things - now I'm not saying it's a negative but it may well affect his settling in period (should he sign)

but you lot carry on draggin him out over it
