Jorginho averaged more touches and passes per game than any player in Europe last season..but passing for passing sake gets you no where....italy have had less possession than their opponents in this euro but have used it well when they've had it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, which is why passing and possession stats are pretty meaningless and give no indication as to which team has played better. Teams like Switzerland and Ukraine, and Everton and Swansea, and Liverpool under Rodgers, in the uk can have the ball as much as they want, their opponents tend to create more in the final third
So it IS possible to lose 48 to 52 and still remain in Europe!

40000 marching through London today saying there should be another referendum because the leave campaign was based on lies
It was.
The campaign convinced 3 groups-
Over 65s who are generally averse to foreigners and not bothered by the economy as they will be dead soon.
Those without degrees who are (generalisation) too stupid to understand that leaving will ruin the economy while not changing anything else.
UKIP voters, that is to say people who are racist.
The result was a very, very sad indictment of Britain and particularly England.
Pretty fair sumation Roger.

what a load of ageist bowlocks
i'm 68 and voted remain as did my wife and will be going to the swansea friendly with my german and pakistani mates.
i still work 7 days a week in my own business , care a lot about the economy and tough sh!t for you am in good health with no intention of dying soon.
i wonder how many millions of young voters, supposedly in favour of remaining in the eu, couldn't get off their lazy arzes and vote ?
There's life in Wolfgang yet!
i am wihout a degree but as my two daughters are both at uni it might indicate that i'm not quite as stupid as roger thinks i am
Don't run yourself down. Of course you are!
I spouted a load of massive generalisations but the bottom line is the vote was won by the old, the stupid and the racists. Some people of course fit in to more than one of those categories.
I have been in a foul mood since last Friday and it hasn't been helped by the numerous tv and radio appearances of Clownders.
I need to vent!
Saunders has certainly come across as a pillock in his role as the bbc's token Welshman
Globalists - what's not to like. Nobody on here is more annoyed than George Soros.

feel free roger, i can take anything you want to dish out.
i spoke to my german mate on the day of the referendum but haven't been able to bring myself to speak to him since. i feel embarrassed and ashamed of that vote.
Germany have played Italy 8 times in major tournaments. 4 of those games have been draws, and 4 Italian wins.
It is what it is we have to accept it and move on
