If anything bayern got worse after appointing pep, even taking their main rivals best players

Bayern always cherry pick their rivals best players Nick!
--------------------------------------------------------------------- Dont remember as many high profile ones as recently though brummie, they took their best striker, best CB and best prospect(goetze).
And Pep still struggled with them.
It has been going on for years Nick - since I was a kid.
so since the 30s?
i dont doubt it brummie
Yeah, Adolf supported them
Link or it didn't Brummie
I thought the Bayern team in the 70's had a lot of home grown or previously amateur players in their ranks. I cannot remember big signings for the time though I have not looked it up and my memory may be playing tricks.
They've generally stayed ahead of the competition by buying their finest off them GUNNER.
Even Beckenbauer they relieved 1906 Munich of.
I thought you were talking about big money ready made signings , Brummie.
I can't even rank them to be honest. Too many new to the league within the last year and a complete freak of a season last year. And a predicted billion quid transfer window.
I'm expecting wild swings this year.

No GUNNER, although they do but their MO is to make sure no one can challenge them by hoovering up the best that their rivals bring through.
