Bitter about what? If he goes he goes and if he wants to then let him. I'm confident we'll find a good replacement. Personally I think he should stay and I want him to stay but if Arsenal fork out £20m then I'd say we get the better deal out of it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Look at the comments by other Leicester fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I was just reacting to comments both last night and today from a couple of Arsenal fans. I wouldn't say I'm bitter about it I honestly believe it's a bad deal for Arsenal and Vardy.
I would prefer him to go to somewhere that's more suitable to his playing style and I would have preferred him not to be promising to repay Leicesters faith in him while hawking himself off to other clubs. That's life though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair if he leaves us I don't care where he goes, if he plays or where he plays. All I care about is that we get as much wedge as possible and re-invest wisely.
Let's not forget that it's not only Vardy's fee, but his wages that will free up funds for elsewhere.
The anger when a player chooses to leave is usually directed at the player themselves or the previous owner for agreeing to sell
I personally don't want Vardy but don't think this boiled-piss is justified when all we've done is meet his release clause
I'd expected the Mahrez rumours to start flying well before any news about Vardy tbh.
Now THAT will be a bloodbath of epic proportions.
If Leicester can win the league then anyone can. If Vardy does join Arsenal it proves that no matter how successful teams like Leicester are they'll always have their best players cherrypicked.
Leicester fans will crawl back into their caves next season when they finish mid table.

Everyone gets raided for players. Even United.
It's the right thing for Vardy.
-One last huge payday
-Constant Champions (not a one off like Leicester)
-Playing at a big club
-Bigger stadium
-Play alongside Ozil, Sanchez etc...
-Play under Wenger.
-Leave a chithole like Leicester
-Live in London
It's an obvious decision.

We'll still be Champions next season no matter what happens, long long time since Arsenal fans have been able to say that.

Doesn't make any difference when you still have to keep looking over your shoulder for someone reading your hand of cards.
Viva - it very much is a one off. He wanted a move to United by all accounts but Jose passed on him for Zlatan...
Arsenal are the only club out of all the ones he's been pimped to that are prepared to meet his clause and demands for a 4 year deal at a £120k week when he's not far off turning 30.
It's a one off alright.....
Vardy to Arsenal is underwhelming signing. This type of 'proven prem' player signing should have been done ages ago, now its little to late and desperate.
Playing up top at Arsenal is lot more difficult for average players like Vardy, Welbeck etc.
Arsenal need a special type of player upfront and that player is Morata.
Vardy suits a team that sits back and plays on the counter attack not a team that dominates possesion around the box. You will see that Vardy mainly scored the same sort of goals running in behind a high line.
Can't imagine why anyone would want to live in a smog infested place like London but hey.

He wanted a move to United yeah? You ask him that yourself? Or was it the prospect of playing in the Europa League that really enticed him?
I don't want him, personally. We play very differently fron Leicester and many players struggle with stepping up to bigger clubs. He is 29 and could unravel very quickly after his big payday and easy life after years of toil.
