I mean, who on JA606 ever uses the term 'fairytale'?!

Something you're trying to tell us, OP?

I had no idea just how touchy a subject this would be for Arsenal fans. I hope you've all got your money on Giroud for Euro 2016 top scorer.

Always enjoy your articles mate

"Why on earth did Arsene Wenger and Co find it an acceptable move while he is on England duty?"

They aren't the most ethical club when it comes to transferes, rememvber the whole Suarez affair and the arrogance they showed with the £1 extra.

My own opinion is when a tournament is on the window shouldn't open, it's too distracting for players, you hear talk of players meeting their agents etc. during the tournament and how can speculation not have an impact on the players psyche.

I'd do my upmost to ban any agents from the camp if I was an international manager but that's probably impossible to do.

They should have done the decent thing and waited until after the tournament and then if it goes well for him competed in a bidding war with a range of European clubs and ended up paying more!

Selfish b*st*rds!

Arsenal's owners are a Yank and an Ukbekh.

Arsène Wenger is French.

Why would they give a fack about England's chances at the Euros?

Wenger might even be trying to do France a favour in an attempt to make up for sending them Giroud.

How can they pay more?? It's a buyout clause.

This could be it.

Wenger trying to cause unrest in the England camp. If Vardy's mind is on Arsenal then it isn't on the Euros.

Vardy should be benched as he could now become a disruptive influence because his mind is elsewhere

Sturridge should start instead

Has a bid even been lodged?

Surely Wenger can be arrested for tapping up the player.

The release clause was included as a guarantee against Vardy being trapped in a gutted Leicester side.

The club management could also argue that it was their own guarantee against getting rinsed over and over by Vardy's people. A situation similar to how Kane's wages have been adjusted something like 5 times over the past 18 months.

It's not Wenger's fault that Vardy's phone isn't ringing off the hook as expected.

£1 goes a long way in some places.

A veritable king's ransom in Liverpool, I'd imagine.
