how the hell did Henderson stay on the pitch for the full 90
---------------------------------------------------------
Probably because he and Nathaniel Clyne were Englands best players.

Now that is depressing

Dier was MOTM for me.

Dier was the only player on that pitch IMO who deserves a place in the next game.

Why ?
Rooney comes on, starts wacking balls into touch, the benched players came on and killed the game dead.

Jlou. Slovakia just dropped all 11 behind the ball for the last 15.

England's support is really poor and deluded, the conclusion i reached having followed the live thread and articles like this one. Sorry Pax

I think Roy is doing very well and tonight was as one sided as you're going to get, purely down to one side refusing to play football & not because Roy is clueless

Not much different in the previous 75.

Must have been inspired by Roy Hodgsons England for the last 4 years

Henderson was awful yet again, there is no wonder England create very few good chances with him in midfield, constantly over hitting crosses, misplacing passes and shooting into the stands.

Vardy and Sturridge were poor, both missed our best two chances. Wilshere doesnt look fit. Clyne looked good up against a pub player at LB.

Dier was England`s man of the match. Skrtel was overall MOTM.

Actually created 2 of the only 3 clear cut chances in the game.

England are creating lots of chances, were playing some good football, lots of movement just not putting the ball in the back of the net.

We did lack width tonight especially down the left, Bertrand is a safe player but never takes any risks, Rose gives us so much more and even though Clyne played well tonight he will still lose his place to Walker next game.

Slovakia were so negative with no intention at all to win the game. They celebrated as if they had won. It looks like they may go through which is ridiculous. I hope they get spanked next game.

Dier was man of the match for me. I don't know how anyone could say Henderson was one of the better players but then I guess I don't have the Liverpool fan blinkers on. I thought we didn't play with enough width which we needed against a team that didn't want to leave their own half.

Not woys fault really. He has the team playing good possession football, and can play very well on the counterattack.

We've played some teams, especially Slovakia that sit deep and hard to break down. Subs were pretty good, although I'd have rash ford rather than Kane.

But not been tested properly. Against the likes of Italy, would be playing a mirror image, would be a tight and probably boring game. Against Germany, and Spain, we'd have to play in the break as they'd pass it around us-but it may suit us. France would be an interesting match up- if it comes to pass.

Not sure of the permutations, but next round should be none of the above.

It is criminal that Horrendo is in the squad ahead of Drinkwater to be fair, a rubbish season for Pool and never looked the part in an England shirt.

Hodgson is completely out of his depth. Three games at the last world cup, no win, and three games at this Euros, and England sneaked just one win in the last minute against Wales. He drops Kane after one and a half games. No other manager of a top side would drop their best striker one and a half games in. He then changes half the side after just two games. He has to go.

It really isn't worth talking England football with club fans so desperate to point score and talk up their own players when it's not warranted.

Blame Roy when its clearly spurs players letting us down massively? Wake up lads.

Good job he did, or England would probably be sitting in third.

What game were you watching? He is so slow in possession. He takes about 10 seconds to sort his feet out for shots so they all get charged down. He was awful.

Can't really blame Hodgson tonight.

Dominated the game from start to finish, even with all the changes. We just couldn't score, and you can't blame the manager for that when Vardy, Sturridge, Kane, Rooney, Wilshere, Alli etc all featured.

That`s right, because Dier`s primary job in this England team is to be a creative midfield player that scores goals

That`s like criticizing a forward because they are not excellent defenders.
