have to admit that whilst I was seething at the time it was probably the best ever headline after a cup shock.

Spoilt a wee bit later when I read that the journalist who coined it had thought about it quite some tome before and was waiting on the next chance to use it.

"SuperCaleyGoBallistic,CelticAreAtrocious"

Brilliant to be fair

The cup final was the highlight of the tims seasonthey are still celebrating it even tough they got knocked out 6 weeks before it"

Now if it wasn't for the fact that your highlights were court wins, something about Res 12 and a semi final in a cup you didn't win, you might have a point.

However......

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The highlight of my season was football, good attacking footbal but only in games we played in, winning the league at a canter going to hampden 3 times winning 2 and losing one in the last minute was a great season, who would have thought getting into a final with the chance of Europe after clinching the league , amazing
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes-who would have thought that you would have won Scotland's second division with the second highest budget in the country?

Or that of your 3 appearances at Hampden, one of them would have been for the Petrofac cup?!?

Or that having had the second highest budget in Scotland over the last 4 years, you would make a major cup final for the first time in what-5 years?!?

Or that having the second highest budget in Scottish football, you still couldn't achieve reaching European football???

Yes-truly remarkable. Must be like pawrn reading that...

I have honestly never seen so many Celtic supporters celebrating a cup final victory they were not involved in? there's even photos on twitter of some of the eejits at the game on the pitch after full time!!pathetic"

Not quite as pathetic as anyone celebrating a cup semi final in a competition they didn't win don't you think?

Now that really is pathetic.

Tell me any team anywhere in the world that has celebrated a semi final win as much as you lot have who then went on to lose the final against a team placed lower than them.

Anyone.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The difference is we celebrated after we knocked you out, you lot were celebrating weeks before a ball was kicked makes it more sweeter"

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So it would appear and exactly as I said, why it's the highlight of your season and you continually post about it.

I rest my case.

Thanks for proving me correct

Who's celebrating it?

Just pointing out the fact Hibs were running rings round you toward the end of the game, busting the myth that your two bottles of water in the morning were a waste of time.

Who won this seasons champions league final?"

Right, this must be some kind of cunning trap.

I'll go for it

Real Madrid?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

correct, now how did they win that trophy?"

I knew it.

Ok; on penalties.

But.....

...they got a trophy at the end of the game.

Rangers got some oranges or something.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

So Real Madrid won on penalties

that means Rangers won the semi final too

Now where did I say that?

We laughed at you in the same way you laughed at us when we were put out of Europe, The League Cup and of course the Scottish Cup; along with every single defeat in the league.

As always. It happens.

But celebrating a cup semi final win in a trophy you don't actually win?

Now that is quite something else.

See?

Imagine celebrating winning a semi final in spectacular form , that will never catch on

I'm going to start celebrate final wins for other clubs that we are not even in

posted on 1/7/16

fact is

Celtic fans like yourself said you were gonna take 4/5/6 off us

we were missing 4 or 5 important first team players and we still passed you off the park

then managed to win it on penalties, the first ever old firm penalty shootout in a major competition

we did that while we were a lower league side and you will never be able to get over the brass neck of it

your players getting passed off the park by ex queen of the south and motherwell players

Not weeks and months after the final defeat though no.

"Did you celebrate Larsson's goal in Boavista?"

I went fwcking loopy mate. I went to the game.

But after the final it was just a memory. As was the final because as you will recall we lost the league on the Sunday afternoon.

There was a pride in getting there but certainly not a celebration.
