Our first match moved to Sunday, v Villa. The Villa supporters are not happy about the ticket prices they are being charged . . . well I can tell you we aren't happy about it either. 20 is plenty.

We have a new shirt this season, which I'm not terribly keen on. The shirt is predominantly blue with white pin-stripes. Our owner, allegedly is not a big fan of stripes. He is a big fan of the history of our club and brought back the retro club crest. We played in a strip not dissimilar to this in the early 60's I think. I hope we go back to proper stripes next year.

The one star bandit can do one....
Think the owls could do well.this season
Hello Tino. I'm hoping so after the disappointment of the play off final. It's going to be a very strong league again, but I'm hopeful as ever. What do you think Wolves will do this year? See you have a new manager. Are you impressed?
Erm we need circa 6 players so I guess it depends how fast they come in and settle....I think auto is beyond us for that reason BUT a late surge to the play offs and then who knows
Zenga was a top top player so we'll see...I'm optimistic
Good man, I like optimism. - and you never know. We started last season with a manager no one had ever heard of, signed some foreign players we had never heard of, and some inspired signings, e.g. Forestieri, Bannan, Wallace and Pudil. Look where we ended up. I never expected to make the play offs, let alone the final.
Maybe we can go one better this season. See you in the final . . . btw it's horrible when you lose
Actually, I think I'd prefer automatic . . .
Alreet Kitty my beloved Rams will be in the mix again this coming season. Especially now we've got an experienced manager at the helm, and not a rookie.
All the best to all the teams in the championship and let battle commence.
I don't mind sheff weds
Medium size club, probably second biggest in Yorkshire
Wassa You've had a good go these past few seasons, so I can understand why you'd like to go the extra mile. We like Nigel Pearson, here in Sheffield, well 7/8ths of the city anyway. . . - he will do well for you.

You're so funny - deluded, but funny
I don't mind Leeds tbh. 6 points for us
You've not mentioned Wolves, 1 star will be your reward !
Gimme a break!! You're the Wolves fan. Tell me what you think.
Newcastle, Norwich and Wolves to go up is my prediction.
Saw your guys over here for the two friendlies with a few Wendy mates who came over.
The football was cr@p, the new shirt's not much better, but like the badge, but we had quite a few bevvies which made it a good time for all.
Good luck for the season, and lets hope we can both be in with a shout by April.
Although I doubt it from Leeds.
Everybody on Radio WM last night saying that Newcastle and Villa are certs for the top two, that it is pointless discussing the possibility of somebody else finishing top two.
With Derby, Sheff Weds, Norwich and Brighton in the mix I cannot see how the likes of Wolves and Leeds are going to break into the top six this season - except that Villa have a nightmare.
They are in worse shape squad wise than Wolves were on their double relegation.
Newcastle have retained many of their expensive players and made some quality signings so it is difficult to see them not going up. However they didn't get relegated because they were a good side and will some of their imports be up for the fight.
Villa don't look in good enough shape to make an immediate return. There is always a shock club in the championship race. Hard to see who it might be but who thought of Brighton last season. How about a cheeky bet on Burton for a top 6 place.
Can't see Villa doing better than mid-table. Maybe squeeze into the play offs if they sign some decent players. But I feel their new owner may not have as much access to money as their fans want.
Wolves? Can't see them doing it either. They had a chance of appointing a good new manager and appointed a clown. He will be gone by Xmas.
Newcastle and Brighton have to be favourites for automatic places.
Reading, Cardiff, Wigan... one of them will go down. One of them will finish in the top 3.
