Does this mean "Sky sources" have finally woken from their Saturday night bender and started reading the Sunday papers?
Who's Tony Cascareno btw?

Meh.
Sky bet office: "Hi, betting's a bit slow - can you ramp up the rumours on Lacazette?"
Sky news office: "Yep, sure, we'll make some non-committal statement like 'Sky sources' tell us something or other".
Sky betting office: "Thanks."

Will only improve it by £2.5mil maximum so will be pointless.
It's look s like being between getting Lacazette and Mahrez ( Sanchez then plays as a striker).
Not sold on the Lyon man but he would be a better fit in the team than the Algerian.

To be fair to sky sources, it's well documented that we made concrete offers for Fabregas. Moyes and Woodward both said as much after the event, on numerous occasions.

did they?

Yea, Moyes has boasted a few times that he 'almost' signed Fabregas and Kroos. The prize plum.
----------------Lacazette--------------
Sanchez---------Özil--------Mahrez
-----------Xhaka----Cazorla-------
Monreal-Mustafi-Koscielny-Bellerin
----------------Cech----------------
Subs: Ospina, Gibbs, Gabriel, Ramsey, Elneny, Iwobi, Giroud
I know it's not going to happen, but look at that. Woof. Maybe sub Cazorla for Ramsey if he brings his Euros form. I'm allowed to dream, right?
I prefer Icardi. There is too much public negotiation for Lacazette to be the main target. I think he is the fall back position if better strikers are priced out of the market.
Moyes talking about Fabregas on Goals on Sunday on Sky sports:
"We thought we were taking him to Manchester United".
"We spoke to him at the time, but unfortunately it didn't happen.
"Manchester United are always in for the top players, we were in for the top players at the time. They were in for the top players recently and they will be in for them again."
I would prefer Icardi too. Seems like that fabled fox in the box and we need someone better in tight spaces because Lacazette won't get much opportunity to run against defenses playing for us. It's a rare sight to see a team not pack their defense against the Arsenal.
Lacazette is a bit like the new Remy, except quite a bit better.
Both Lacazette and Icardi have the ability to get behind a defence. For me that is a must and what we have been missing since RVP.
Icardi is used to scoring under pressure and also playing for a big club. That is an important advantage of Lacazette in my opinion.I wonder if Inter would like Giroud?

We won't get both Lacazette and Mahez. Replace Mahrez with Ox in your team and we at still challenge.
Ox only plays pre season games.
