Lacazette 230 appearances for Lyon - 92 goals = 40%
Giroud 135 appearances for Arsenal - 57 goals = 42.2%

Ox only plays pre season games.

Ox does trust his body yet. A run without injuries will see him explode.
Bit misleading, stats like that. Arsenal are known to be one of the most attacking teams in Europe. So we create a lot of chances.

Could be but Lyon would be the best team in France if it wasn't for PSG.
Other players who can do a job on the right wing are Wilshere, Ramsey, Welbeck, Iwobi, Campbell and Theo. I would prefer any money is spent on the best striker we can get rather than another winger.
We have a bunch of young wingers who might just explode if given the right chance. Chamberlain, MyName'sJeff and Chris Willock (being woefully underlooked at this point) could all step up this season. Campbell could be pretty good too.

I agree with both of these.
It's a striker we need more than anything. Mahrez would be nice but not as necessary as a top striker.

And where is the French league in world football? We have been fooled before buying from France. Much prefer when the players have some history out side of France to under line their skill. Our scouting from France has been poor in the recent past.

And to add, French league is shat..he should be banging more goal. May be he will be better at Arsenal as we have Sanchez and Ozil to provide him assists.
He is only 5.10'' tho..ffs another small attacking fwd at club.

Don't get me wrong, All I am saying is Giroud and Lacazette have similar stats and they both play for top teams in their respective leagues. The stats won't be that misleading for this reason.
Putting Lacazette’s Lyon record to one side, he’s quicker than Giroud (who isn’t) and loves to make runs in behind. Which will suit our style of play (especially Ozil).
I also understand he’s scored the same amount of goals over the last two years as Giroud, Welbeck, and Walcott combined.
Also what I am getting out is I don't think Lacazette is all that good. Not bad though.

Good timing, pace, movement and finishing are what we need to compliment our best players, not a lump.
Our best foorball comes when Walcott is playing well at CF and this isn't because he's anything special, it's because he has the basic skillset needed to get the best out of Ozil and Sanchez. Both are genuinely special players held back by Giroud.

This is a good point. He will give us a different option and also his last season was very good, goal scoring wise.
I am happy to have Lacazette as the fall back option. But Icardi is on another level and his potential is far higher.

Only Arsenal fans could argue about unrealistic signing
Giroud and Walcott will lead our attack again this season. Bookmark this.
Mario Gomez would be a good fit and available for less than 10m.
Just on TV. Never live. Quick, skilful, finishes well. But then again I have never seen Lacazette play expect for you tube highlights.
I just compare their stats and the fact one is already a captain playing for a top team. Lacazette is two years older?
Tbh I wouldn't mind Lacazette but Icardi is just better.
I dont think Lacazette is good enough. 21 goals in 34 games in the French league does not fill me with confidence. We should be going for better.

He wouldn't be a good fit at all.
At this stage, who would have RvP back?
Given AFC’s current options is there anyone who would not want to see Lacazette (or another) CF signed?
Getting a bit close to the start of the season to be particularly choosy.
