Where does this Madrid side rank in your list of greats? Could be what 3 CL in 4 years?

True, you can't ignore the Barca factor. As you can't ignore the Manc's clubs and the resurgent Spurs side who pushed Chelsea very close this season
The Madrid squad certainly has to be one of the best ever. As much as we criticise zidane at times, he definitely rotated well.
Zizou has done pretty well tbf. And if he puls off the CL this season again, then surely he has to be considered the most successful manager in RM history

Not that great right now, but we'll have to wait a few seasons to see, as imo we're just about embarking on a transitional period.
Yeah Zidane has used the squad very well. Bale's recurrent injuries have been a bit of a blessing.

We're not really a manager's club, but if we had to choose one, most would suggest it was Miguel Muñoz.
Imo, we haven't really had any standout managers.

Suppose. Longevity of managers in the modern football is abot 90 days these days. I guess managing RM for 15 years is impressive. I guess Miguel Munoz is regarded at RM in the same vein as SAF and Wenger were for their respective club.

Weirdly true actually. I thought that Ancelotti CL winning team was your best of recent years. This current side is phenomenal but are stand out because of the players, not the manager.

Except for the second half of the 1959-60 season, I would completely delete the 1960s from our history.

Daz and Mex are both balanced posters. Mex hates Jose with passion (more so than Ioag).
