Alright, peks?
Campeones, ¡por fin!
Meh, nobody cares about RM mate!
Some of successful managers are pragmatic. Allegri, Simeone, Conte etc... well apart from Pep, Wenger and Ancelotti to an extent who seems to stick with own philosophies.
I can sort of sympathise with them because football is becoming a results business and their managerial longevity would depend on their success.
Though, I agree Jose's brand of football is getting extremley boring to watch. In his first tenure with Chelsea he played some formidable football. Also, at RM when he won the title breaking few records in doing so. In his earlier career he was more adventurous, willing to take more risks and a charismatic character. so I think he is capable of producing good brand of football but as he is getting older he's turned himself into an unbearable whinging git with some of his antics , Now playing more cautious football which as you rightly say win at all cost mentality.

I never cared much for him either, to be honest. Always found him overly conservative, though I can understand why he'd be a legend for City fans.
famous footballing RM's I'm trying to think of so that I can understand IOAG's shocking bantz.
Raul Meireles
Raoul Moat (Gazza connection)
Roger Miller
Ohhhh Roberto Mancini
Bantz
Some even claim that it was the RM job that broke him down.
Referreing to your earlier post, Conte'nt, that win-at-all costs mentality is what we already saw at Madrid. Imo, the bigger the job and the bigger the pressure, the more he tries to play it safe.
Other managers have been pragmatic, but very few of them have gone so out of their way to be absolute unts at the same time.
On your last comment, I do think that his Madrid tenure changed him. I wouldn't say he's broken, but for someone who someone who obviously thrives on unabounded worship, imo it definitely fazed him and I don't think he's ever been quite the same since.
Congrats Madrid fans (belated)

I'd like Ancelotti or Tuchel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But will end up getting Simeone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't even joke.
Hope everything went ok today, peks.
Real Madrid sign Vicinius Junior for €45m. He's played ten minutes for Flamengo.
Used to play with him a few years ago. Good player well worth the money.
Thanks, Wumpy!
Daz, has that been made official now? Read about it over the weekend, they said it was going to be formally announced today. I was astounded, never ever heard of this kid.
Yeah it's official. I remember hearing about him because of the South American under 17's a few months ago and him being compared to Neymar.
Insane money for a 16 year old who's played ten minutes.
If he turns out to be anything like Neymar then it's money well spent.
Does that mean RM have given up of signing Hazard ?
It's still ridiculous, though.
Doubt it, he won't move there until 2019 anyway.
I thought Man Utd paid similar fee for Martial, albeit only a couple of years older
And it was ridiculous when we did. But he was 19, had played 70 clubs games including in the CL and had made his international debut. Hardly the same.
Didn't know he made any appearances for France at the time Man Utd bought him.
So he started playing for Monaco senior team at the age of 17, that's impressive.
Obviously a talented player, I don't think he has progressed under Jose
Neither do I, and don't think he will. I think he'll be off either this or next summer. Signing Griezmann will spell the end for him.
I don't think Man Utd will be able to recoup the whole of transfer fee you paid for him if you sell him now. Obviously there will be takers, but club will try and take advantage of the situation
I don't think we'll care about recouping the full transfer fee.

It's totally facking insane.
Odegaard can barely start a game for Herenveen nowadays.
How much did that Odegaard kid go for?
Odegaard forgot about him.
