Yeah but Rooney struggles speaking English let alone another language.
Seriously, though, I've seen it mentioned a lot that Rooney doesn't want to move because he's so settled where he is and all his family are there.
I don't think many clubs will pay him that, though. And evidently the club don't appear to be that keen to move him on so the chances of us paying him £30m to go is unlikely.
In any other situation you'd probably be right. But Rooney is a very unique case. Never seen a player so poor have such power at a club as big as United. It's inexplicable.

David Villa?
Rooney might survive the winter window, but unless there's a sharp and unexpected upturn in his form and United emply a faceless manager (equally unlikely), then I'm pretty sure he's a goner for next summer.
I hope you're right. But I've been hearing this for theee years and still he's here. In fact, it wouldn't even surprise me if we gave him a new contract.
Honestly wouldn't. We are a joke.
Seriously Daz, wtf do I know about United?
I know you still haven't reached R. Madrid levels of circusness, but keep trying...

Wump will be happy today. Valencia are the feature of Sid Lowe's weekly Liga column in the Guardian.
On a separate note, Liga midweek fixtures include the Seville derby tonight, and Barça-Atleti tomorrow, which kicks off shortly after the end of the R. Madrid-Villarreal game.
Something like that, Forza. Think he still might be the highest paid player in the premier league.
Don't really see how that was to make me happy iaog His piece last year where he featured us was absolute crap.

Yeah but Mapoli is just a small province in southern Italy.
Yeah it's scandalous how much he earns.
I wonder how long it will be when players are earning 500k a week.
Once Neymar's on the market probably.
How much would he theoretically go for? I'm thinking somewhere between 120-150mill he would cost the buying club considering the fee paid for Pogba.
Yeah maybe. Depends how long he has on his contract, though.
Did you read what according to Wagner Ribeiro PSG had offered Neymar?

Something like €35M/season, a private jet to whizz to and from South America and..........
.......a shame in a hotel chain named after him!

It's the hotel chain that would swing it for me.

Forza
A win tomorrow for Real and they'll set a new record for consecutive wins in La Liga: -17 on the bounce.
Zidane's record for Madrid so far has been very impressive.
