Rooney is playing in Pogbas best role.....he'd of had a field day there today with those types of chances.

He's doing alright, problem is he is passing to Rooney so we don't get to see the attacks evolve

No one knows what Pogbas best position is because he's still growing as a midfielder. I get the feeling Jose might experiment by playing him as a box to box midfielder who links our DM to Rooney.

He may be amazing there, he may only work in a midfield 3. I'm sure he and Jose have spoken about where he's gonna play and he's happy to play there.

He's played a more defensive role for Juve to provide support for Pirlo and done it well. So don't subscribe to the lazy view that he can only play in an attacking role.

Let Jose get the best out of him. The position he ends up playing might surprise us all.

A younger man would've scored there.
