The point is Robb, many a player can do that for us, for a damn sight less than £100m too.

We've paid for the star of the show not the backup dancer.

He could be that star in the right role, we saw for France (and Juve) he isn't all that brilliant from deep. He is best when given the freedom to perform. He makes brilliant runs at the edge of the box too and with Rooney occupying that role I don't think we'll see the best of him tbh.

To be fair we are well off the pace in terms of match fitness which is worrying. We are badly missing Kante as well
