Thought toure was a bit suspect for their first, as was mcgregor looking for a flag.

Made a lot of interceptions though

Disagree with some of your ratings but agree with the fact it was a great night

any in particular/

O'Connell being higher than Toure.

Sinclair and Tierney

I felt Sinclair had a really quiet night when you compare him to Forrest.

Tierney had a good game. Considering they did try to double up on him. His reading of the game was superb.

Total rollercoaster last night

I dont think anyone had a bad game in a celtic shirt

the first half was excellent we couldnt have hoped for better - Scott brown - holy fitba boots!!! whats got into him - he was brilliant

griffiths as well was fantastic all night

The two young uns at the back were at fault for the 1st goal...... they shouldnt have switched positions , they should have kept their shape until the danger was averted - and Gordon should cover his near post and if the boy beats him far side then fair enough

it was nice to get back ahead in the game after suffering a real downer

Im not sure many people are with me here but i seen enough of that side last night to worry me for the second leg .....nothing is over yet
Their number 9 could hold off 2 guys with the ball - he was their best player , to be honest he was excellent

They had real pace as well at times and could play and tbh they should have levelled the game when Gordon saved from the boys header

I just cant help feel some dread about the second leg ....

I think we should play Erik and Toure for the second leg , EoC has been brilliant but i think he has much to learn and it showed in the 1st goal and games like next week isnt the time for learning curves

The paly flags - who gives a flying fck really ???

Toure last night

never celebrated any of the goals

after the 2 and 3rd he had Tierney & EOC over having a chat

after the 5th he had Janko over having a chat

straihgt off the pitch at full time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I loved what he done when he was up for the Griffiths header , he never celebrated despite him being hugely involved in it ...he turned and ran back and as you say spoke to his fellow defenders ...
An old head is exactly what we need in games like this

Ct jobs not done.

Its easy to see how they get 0-0 and 1-0 results. Their players are tanks. Holdint off 2 players at a time

Hard night for Sinclair, they had 2-3 guys on him most of the time he got the ball; they obviously seen him as our biggest threat. It worked in our favour actually as it helped create more space in other areas for us to attack.

Thought the man himself; the wonderful Rogic was a bit off his game last night. Wee bit over hesitant at times and not the quick feet and passing he was doing against Motherwell. Delightful composure to tuck away the first but

Brown edges Griff for MOTM; two amazing performances but that's the best game Brown may have ever had for us.

Was saying to Murnetti at the game when did we last score a free kick? Guidetti?
Just as that was say, BOOM, right in the postage stamp from Griff. Peach of a goal!

what about that Wanyama guy in the middle of the park for them he was about 5ft from me when they were warming up and a spunk tear came out my japp
What a specimen !!!

Yeah I thought Sinclair was quite, especially in the second half and Rogic's touch was poor but on whole after that result, I'm not gonna fault anyone.

And the crowd was amazing, I couldn't even hear the Champion's League music such was the noise.

Also there has been a good change in attitude when players try to beat a man but don't. Now it is "unlucky" and "good to see him having a go" whereas in the past it was moans followed "why didn't he pass."

All in all a great night

How close was Sinclair to scoring a 6th at the end, had that went in would have been job done!

They don't look capable of taking 3 off us. If they do it will require all out attack which will leave gaps at the back which we have the pace to exploit. Don't forget if we get one goal they will need five.

Yeah if Sinclair scores that it's tie over.

Still, to take a 3 goal advantage over there knowing one goal means they need 4 to go through is a dream start

I actually wondered if they had played it at all. Their manager said after the game that he had never heard noise like it in a football stadium.

They took two off us last night Yea know what you mean though I think if they leave space at the back we will score too.

_

They too 2 off us last night and Gordon's save stopped it being 3

But I know what you mean... their play overall for the night didn't even really deserve the two goals; that's football!

Need to keep composure over there now. They need to press out and if we can keep it tight for 20-25 mins and use our pace up front we could put the tie to bed in the first half.

CT

if Sinclair had scored for 6-2 i'd say its over but still have my worries.

Thought they looked a really good side at times in the 2nd half

I also think with us pressing from the word go we slip into wee lulls in the game where we get a bit tired
