Ghod, Brown never lost a tackle to him
Broonys best performance in 2 seasons

what about that Wanyama guy in the middle of the park
hes the best player in Israel apparently, I thought he was pretty poor especially in the first half, Brown ran rings round him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
hes a total tank - definetly showed glimpses of how good he could be though , for such a big guy some of his touches suprised me
but Brown had his number - he couldnt cope with Brown
- not sure many could have last night
he also tripped over the ball and went down like he'd been shot
Who, Scoti Hernandez Broonesta?
Did ye aye?
Did YOU say that?
Did ye? Did ye?
__
As far as I remember I did
One of us did anyway. If it makes you happy I'll give you the credit.
Some of the roasters back in force last night; guy sitting across from us was blazed, arguing with other folk, singing in folks faces and kissing randomers on the nut

I wondered what you made of him last night
Probably as suprised and impressed as me
What about his little drag back to skin that player in the first half ?
At one point he ran across the pitch round 3 players and retained the ball
He was steamboats but what about that guy two rows behind us. Going off his nut shouting for it to be hoofed into the box
Some smelly **** expected me to link arms with him during the huddle. Go and have a feckin' shower first mate.
I wondered what you made of him last night
I was so impressed I went and got Broony on the back of my top after the game.
My Zara shirt now looks rather strange.
I'm surprised how divided you guys are on a number of players last night, particularly Forrest and McGregor.
My ratings would be:
Gordon 6
Lustig 8
O'Connell 7
Kolo 7
Tierney 7
McGregor 8 (would have been a 9 but for their first goal)
Brown 10 (best game of his career)
Rogic 8
Sinclair 7
Griffiths 9
Forrest 8

Ah yes the master tactician. Thought he was gonna pass out from yelling
the huddle is for when youre cruising not at 4-2 in a cl qualifier
I just stood myself and watched the game whilst everyone around me was doing it
at least 7 of them got evils from me

See these types !!!!!
Thats like the 3 fat bassas that sat beside me for the Astana game
They knew how to play the game , they were experts
" ah ffs , WHIT YE GEEING TAE HIM FIR "
" STOAP FHANNYING ABOOT"
and then the classic when all 3 jumped up when forrest got the ball ( on his 18 yard line) and in unison shouted " RUN"
"GO "
" GO, GO " whilst waving his pointed finger forward like crazy
Mick
McGregor had a very good game, night and day from his other European starts this season
more like the way he played v Motherwell last week
My only issue with McGregor is there are times he looks like a boy playing in a man's game.
I'm not talking about the need to put the boot in or anything it's his strength when retaining the ball that worries me, if someone farted last night he would have lost his balance.
Very good on the ball at times last night though
moves the ball a bit quicker than Bitton
but when we needed to slow it down and keep it Bitton was the correct change
I thought Biton did well, didn't lose the ball once.

all 3 changes were smart and required and helped us
i hate doing the huddle, its stupid and we face the wrong way, we should be facing inward.

Aye, a great night indeed. Most goals I've seen at a Celtic Euro game (the 3-3 vs Inter being the previous highest).
Only negatives for me were the zoomers with the Paly flags (no place at a FOOTBALL ground FFS), and the cants streaming out with 10 mins to go. Somebody mentioned that at the Astana game, but I hadn't really noticed it at that one ... last night they were leaving all round me. Most important game of the season FFS, and folk are more worried about traffic.Had a wee chuckle that they all missed Broonie's cracker.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My mate put on Facebook
Went for a pie and missed 2 goals. Stupid fat bassa.
I had a chuckle at that. Timinator knows the guy too.
CT
it does that
i only do it on the big games tbh, none of this motherwell nonsense.
What about that Sinclair run at the end If that had gone in it would have been done I think.
Still a bit dodgy but got to be confident now. Would have taken 1 or 2 nil before ko so 5-2 is better of course. Plus, we look as if we'll score over there too.
What a night btw
