Downloaded vice on ps4 last week still a very good game feels clunky now but still my favourite gta game
San Andrea's will always be the greatest
San Andreas is the best video game of all time
Vice city was my personal favourite but I was an 80s kid , so the music plays a big factor for me .
Was a nice throw back to scar face plus was about the right age for me
Prefer San Andreas, but I think GTAV is a better game
Vice City still my favourite to date. Such a good feel to that game even if it wasn't actually the best

Definitely this, I played this for hours and loved every minute of it!
San Andreas had more but I just didn't enjoy it half as much as VC.
VC was almost perfect, if they redid it with today's graphics like V I would probably lose my job, wife and err house so they probably shouldn't
Ronny me to , nothing better than getting on that bike with Mr Mr Broken wings blaring out.
Yeh these games deserve a remaster - this is certainly the beauty of video games that if you want you can make them beautiful and not change the story ala Hollywood.
And sorry but no gameplay wise they don't hold a candle to 5. Might not be the best story but mechanically and gameplay it's not only the best in the gta series but some of the best in the business, prob my favourite sandbox.

They definitely hold their own.
No they don't. Shooting is terrible in them all except 5. Driving is amazingly clunky and ai is terrible. Story wise agree 3/vc is some of the best we've had. Dont let nostalgia trick your brain into thinking vc and 3 play like 5....they don't.
I'm up to mission 22 on number 3 at the mo , Fack me this game is hard .
I've also just noticed that my character has not spoken once and his hands look stump like
San Andreas was better in almost every way except the music, but Vice City is still my favourite and possibly my favourite game of all time.
Haven't played it in a while but agree about the clunkiness. Was still very early in the open world 3D game and it shows.
Never bothered with GTA V after the disappointment of IV & RDR. Was waiting for it to come down to a tenner but it's taking a while.
I'm not saying they play like GTAV Simon, in fact the majority of the time I'm glad they don't
Gameplay in GTAIII/Vice City/San Andreas is at least as fun if not more than IV/V.
Also it's nothing to do with nostalgia, I played them as recently as last month.
Vice City and San Andreas will always remain special to me. Vice City in particular as it was the first non-top down GTA I played. I have both on my phone and dip back in every now and then.
However I agree with Simon, gameplay wise they do not come anywhere near 5.
4 and 5 kinda ruined GTA for me, nowhere near as fun as their predecessors.
Have no idea what you are doing in 5, one of the best games in the last 5 years easily.
Each of GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas and GTA V have raised the bar for all other games at the time of their release. I absolutely loved playing all of them.
GTA V is well ahead of the others in terms of gameplay. It was fantastic. You give someone who has never played any of the series GTA V first and then ask them to play any of the others and most times they wouldnt bat an eye lid at them.
That's not to say the old ones aren't still very playable and I think it would be awesome if they were remastered for the newer consoles. San Andreas is my personal favourite when I played it, which is probably due to my age at the time and how much you could do on it.
GTA IV was a massive disappointment though.
5 felt a bit lazy to me, still a 9/10 game bu the missions weren't particularly interesting or well thought out, for an open world game they were ridiculously linear and easy all the way through, sports cars still had a top speed of around 120mph and not that fun to drive, couldn't really have any impact on the world around you and the police were too easy to evade.
Dunno what most people see in GTAV, tried so many times to get into it but it never happens. Just because it shoots better and is smoother with better graphics doesn't put it in the same league as III/Vice City/San Andreas.
The missions are worse, hate the way the characters move since GTA IV, driving is less fun, overall it just isn't as fun.
GTAV wasn't the best game of 2013 never mind the last 5 years.
Again I'm sorry but most people disagree
