Fantastic block by the Burton defender to stop Mason scoring. That would have been game over.
For their equaliser I was disappointed with Ikeme who would normally come and catch crosses that are in the air that long

Dirty basterd !
Terrible incident that, and the guy is correct, surely warrants retrospective action
Disgusting, if he doesn't get a 3 game ban for that then it is an outrage.

I think there were more positives than negatives. We are still a team in transition after all. JDB is already settled and a very good player. Cavaleiro (sp) really improved as the game went on and CBJ and Stears both played well. I do think Costa is going to be a very good player too - I do think he was unlucky to be booked for diving. He was already past the player and there was nothing to gain by diving as he was outside the box.
One thing that really irritated me - before the board had been put up we had a corner and took it short and tried to waste time - as there was 6 mins added time there must have been 10 minutes of the game left at that stage!!
Cyp. Under normal circumstances I'd probably agree with you, but getting 13 new players in after pre season, was always going to be a tough scenario. Yes, you can assess players on the training ground, but only in matches can you fully see how a player will perform.
Many report have criticized the ref, but as you rightly say, the penalty should have been retaken as 8 or 9 Wolves players encroached into the box before the kick was taken.
I also agree with DJ's remarks above.

Yeah that p'ed me off too Vinnie. It never works, best way to kill the game off is stick the bloody ball in the back of their net. If you're literally in the dying seconds of a game, then yes take it to a corner. Anything over that, you're bound to concede possession so there's no point.
That Charles Ross of ALOB 'fame' was sat behind me on Saturday and was shouting at them to keep it in the corner and then came over all smug when then equaliser went in. "should've kept in the corner!!!" - this was a good six minutes later.
He's a right annoying by the way, talks constantly and loudly in 'pundit speak' to his mate for the whole match. Second time he's been there now, hope he's not got a ST, he was doing my nut on Saturday.
Old-goal-dilox
Wolves were in control of the game at that stage too. Burton were on the ropes a bit and we looked like we were going to add a second. The corner should have been put into the box to keep the pressure on.
come across a new (to me) mobdro lookee-likey
called uktv now its the same modus operandi as mobdro.
main diff seems to be that it has adverts and a simpler grid prog guide to get to your channel
More highlights from the U23s than from the first team. Worth watching just for Herc's strike:

2 cracking goals in the academy 2-2 away draw to 'ammers
http://www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2016/September/10-September/Highlights-West-Ham-United-PL2-2-2-Wolves?
I find it a bit strange that so many people on here are complaining about squad rotation and giving new players a chance. Last season the club paid £3 million for Mason and when Jackett left him sitting on the bench and played the ever useless Siggurdarson, the same people were complaining that it was crazy to pay all that money for a player and then not play him.
The side that Walter put out against Burton were clearly capable of winning 3 points but it took a while for them to settle in and start playing well. If Mason and Bod had started we would have won the game for sure. The reason he wanted to rest Bod was due to his recent return from international duties and the reason he wanted to rest Mason - are you listening Cinci? - is because he had been ill and missed a lot of training during the previous to weeks.
We have 6 games in a 20 day period and Walter would be an idiot to try to play all those games with the same 11 players when he has so much talent available for selection.
He has 12 new players - that's 12 not 13 wolfie! (the other one is a 19 yr old keeper who has gone into the academy) and he needs to see all those players play in competitive games in different combinations and in some cases in different positions before he can hope to work out what his strongest side is.
I will be amazed if he doesn't make at least 5 changes for tomorrow's game as we surely see Saiss and Ola John start and some of the 'old' players will also get a start, Price, Saville, Edwards and Irofa all being in with a shout.
I think we have to be patient and give WZ time to work things out in his own way because as he says himself he could play one team on Saturday and an entirely different one the following Tuesday.
Well said gem. Watch him go and put out an unchanged side now!
Barnsley currently 3rd in the table and are the leagues highest goalscorers but we could go above them on GD if we win by a couple.

So play them in the U23 matches.
As I said earlier, the league games are far too valuable to experiment!
You can only play 2 senior players in an U23 game. Playing them 2 at a time it going to take about 10 years to work out who plays best with who.
The point is Cyp that no matter what combination of players he puts out they should be a strong enough group to hold their own against 75% of the sides in this league. For games against the top 5 or 6 sides I agree he needs to field his strongest team and the most effective formation to counteract the opposition.
He doesn't just need to use U23 matches, he has training, videos, internationals, youtube, can organise friendlies, training 5 a side, training attack against defence, training 11 v 11 etc....
From all of the above and others that I have no idea about, the manager should have a good idea of who will play well with whom.
FFS, he could have asked me and I'd have told him that Stearman and Batth would play well together. LOL
I agree that whoever played against Burton should have been good enough to win the match, but they weren't! Zenga has therefore left himself open to accusations of meddling, not knowing what he's doing and wasting the international break.
I expect that whoever Zenga picks should start the match like a bat out of hell and it shouldn't take the manager 45 mins + to realise that he's put the wrong team out.
Fosun and Cyp expect better.
On my way to cape cod and stopped off in Rhode island and just had amazing timing as they just launched that stealth destroyer whilst I was there, largest in the world and probably the ugliest!!!!
Worth checking out on line if you like freak shows
Saw a shark on the crossing to Cape Cod, Cinci. Keep and eye out, it may still be there.

Not very stealthy as there's loads of YouTube clips of it:

I do think its a concern that we have played poorly in pretty well every first half this season. You aren't going to consistently get results by playing well for less than half a game. So the manager clearly has something to sort out there.
But I don't see the problem with changing the team. The last game before international break was one that we lost and we did so largely with the team that proved they weren't good enough last season. So are we saying we shouldn't have meddled with that despite having gone out and signed loads of players that will hopefully be better than last seasons squad.
It was good to see Borthwick, Oniangue, Cavaleiro, Costa and Gladon play and soon I would like to see John, Saiss and Silvio play. Until most of them have played 3 or 4 games we have no idea what our best team is. And if we don't rotate the team we may never know.
With so many new players the one stone cold certainty was that we would be inconsistent in the opening months of the season. But if we arrive at the end of October with a team containing five or six players that are an improvement on who was playing last season, as I think we will, then that will have been a very successful start to the fosun/Zenga era.
