i dont think people want Jose out, they are just frustrated that he continues to play players who everyone else can see arent up to the job anymore.

This.
Hopefully this now changes.
Anyone think rooney must have too much power in the club/dressing room?
think there must be a serious problem behind the scenes

ahhh get use to this
Until we give Jose (or anyone) time I think there will also be certain issues within the club.
Club needs direction and it's been plain to see for sometime now.
Haven't seen anyone calling for his head
if reports are right hes losing the dressing room already
downard spiral from here
Haven't seen anybody wanting him out either.
Dropping Rooney is a very sensitive subject and one I'm sure both Moyes and LVG considered many times too but realised the problems it entailed.
If he is dropped (which he deserves to be) then I can't see him being in a great mood around the club as he sits on the bench. The guy has been at the club for over 12 years, he will clearly have a big influence at the club and while Jose is a very good manager with strong convictions he's been at the club a matter of months and probably understands the implications of dropping the club captain and a player who has a lot of influence at the club.
Hopefully he can drop him soon but it isn't going to be a smooth transition.
Yet Guardiola went to Barcelona and choppe Deco andDinho. He just chopped Yaya.

If Jose can't drop Wazza then he is no good to us.
@1982
No hopefully about it
Jose needs to grow a set and do better than lvg and moyes, which many here said he would
Just got there ahead of me VC

No I agree he needs to, I'm just saying it isn't straight forward whoever does it.
The fact Jose dropped Casillas who was an even bigger influence at Real shows to me he has the balls to do so. But dropping Casillas (which was the right thing to do BTW) was also the start of the end for Jose at Real. The problem is players these days have far too much power and you need to go about these sorts of things carefully, especially if you've only just joined the club.
I bet LVG thought about it often but then probably thought it was far too much of a hassle.

If he doesn't it'll probably cost him his job... simple as that

True, either way it's gonna be difficult IMO. The club has been a mess for the past 3 years, surely no one expected things to be solved over night?

I agree its a difficult one... either way.
If he doesn't tackle the issue while continuing to publicly or privately criticise other players, he'll lose the dressing room for sure.
If he does drop him... we know what comes next... Rooney looks to leave and causes a bit of friction.
When its happened previously he still had a lot of support from the fans though... this time I think the vast majority would be glad to see the back of him

he has done it with casillas at madrid.. he has the ball to do it. what make u thing it different now?
Its's debatable whether Rooney is even a Jose type player as he's possibly one of the least tactically disciplined players out there.
Fu·ck this article and, with all due respect, fu·ck anyone trying to issue "good fan" credentials.
Generally speaking, fans want what they consider best for their club. Some think more short term, others look at the longer term. Just because someone thinks that JM is going to have a detrimental influence on the club that cannot be compensated by short term success, it doesn't make them a bad fan.
The might be proved wrong, but that doesn't mean they don't love the club just as much as the next man.
