Its reported that DeBruyne has a hamstring injury.
If he is out next Sunday it will certainly make life easier for us. He is a special player and has been the best player in the league so far imo.
Started on fire last season as well, but soon the old problems resurfaced.
I think they are definitely stronger this season, but like yourself, I am yet to be convinced they are miles ahead of certain other teams.
Theres no doubt they are a top side but defensively they aren't good enough at the moment.
Offensively they are excellent but are so reliant on Augero. It all depends if they can keep him fit all season.
Hi Argen
Yes he is superb and Ag is special as well but two players do not make a team
Could say similar about us
We've beat - Palace, Stoke, Sunderland & Boro
Drawn - Liverpool & Everton
That's a pretty easy start to the season tbf
He missed their last 3 games....they don't seen that reliant on him.
I agree though with the OP....it is far too early to be crowning them the champions.
Hi DJM how's tricks
Your lot had a top result yesterday but were you great or were Chels sh...........
Hengy
Look again mate we have had 3 top 7 sides and 3 bottom 8 sides City have had 1 top 7 seven side and 5 bottom 7 sides
they played a poor United side and were lucky to take all 3 points
-------------------------------------
Comments like this are silly. Is it possible that United were poor cos City made them look poor on the day? And there was nothing remotely lucky about the win. Over 90mins, City were by far the better team.
Perhaps, they've not played the toughest fixture list, but they've been convincing in the way they play. At this point, they look to be favourites, but a better picture would emerge with time.
We were great
And Chelsea were crap
Similar to the United game last season, we killed the game off before they had a chance to get into it.
Nice to score against them as well, been a while (bar the Charity Shield).
City have had a perfect start agreed, but they have had just about the kindest fixture list imaginable. Only the United game away was in anything like a game that could be classed as semi difficult. They come to WHL in much the same position as last season, so we shall see how good they really are.

We played palace before the we're doing well & before they bought benteke and had no striker
We've played 2 good teams and drawn with both.
Our start has been easy in terms of teams

Er, no it is not, two of those teams occupy the current top five, Palace is a London Derby always difficult, and Stoke and Middlesborough away are not easy trips.
It'll be an interesting game next week!
Hopefully we can go to Swansea on Saturday afternoon and put in another top performance and get the 3 points, we can sit back then knowing someone above us will drop points.
John Brown
Fair comment and put well but United have been poor , they scored a injury time winner against Hull beat a very poor Saints and LCfc side but also lost to a poor dutch team and Watford
Stoke and Middlesborough away are not easy trips.
========
6 home games between them, no wins. 14 goals conceded.
City are the media darlings at the moment because they're winning games.
At 1-1 and 2-1 yesterday I was hearing that City were unconvincing, that they were making hard work of Swansea etc.
Then they win the game 3-1 and everyone's saying how well they're playing and that they're looking unstoppable.
Hope Spurs can derail them.
Cheers J red
Was that really a pen to give city the lead yesterday......hmmmmmmm
The only tough game Spurs have played is Liverpool and we outplayed you in that game and we should have won.
The real tests for you lot and City is when you play away to the top sides.

Stoke not a easy away trip we just beat them 4-0 two consecutive season
Boro is a newly promoted team and a expected win
Palace was going through a bad start and had no striker an expected win
Sunderland are just shiet expected win
Everton & Pool only tough games and drew both
Easy start to season
By the letter of the law, I think it was a penalty. But plenty of refs wouldn't have given it, I'm sure.
Mane man
You drew with us because
1.....You could not beat our keeper except a very dodgy pen
2....We scored from open play and had a 100 percent pen turned down
You did play well but it is an eleven man team and our keeper and defence were more than capable of taking care of your attack except for that joke of a pen....you were the lucky team to get a point
City didn't look good yesterday and won 3-1. That's why they are getting so much praise for winning even though they didn't play well.
Spurs and City (and I'd argue United) have had an easy start to the season yet we've played Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea away and Leicester at home.
I don't expect us to get any credit from opposition fans and so it should be.

Being tripped from behind in the box is a dodgy penalty is it?
