Our penalty against Spurs was a dive? Now I've heard it all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool players are always diving to get penalties, so not a surprise the ref got conned at WHL, what was a clear dive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope, it wasn't

My judgement is based on evidence so far
Remember how United ran themselves to the ground when we played them?
City have played well, but they still have a lot to prove.
I'd like to see how their attacking football matches up to Arsenal's head-to-head.

No, it was accidental contact outside the box, but as usual Pool were given the benefit of doubt.

Funny thing ....nobody gave us a chance last year and how did that turn out
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You still didn't win it
Next Sunday is it then, .... at WHL or is it Wumbley now?
Man Citeeeh come to us and we will see.......
about all these meanderings that City haven't shown up and we have.
I don't believe a word of it.
Truth is, Spurs have had a lot of the Irish so far.
Just look at our performances ..... dominate matches and win by the odd goal (Sunderland and 'Boro).
And then there's that fiasco at Wumbley with Monaco, which we dominated and should have won but lost, that has really put our CL hopes in jeopardy. Now we have to go to some cold place and play a nasty side with injuries to Kane, Sissoko, Dier and Dembele.
Truth is, we have to start putting balls in the net.
I don't like it one bit. Hoping Janssen and Yamaha (Oh I guess Wayama is his name) step up to perform like Son has.
I think Squid is wrong on all of this. Fingers crossed with Citeeeh.
The comment that caused the OP to lose his rag with Liverpool fans is actually a fair comment. I think the fact that it predicts a City win is the reason he is irked.
Hold your fire OP. Swansea were actually the better side for most of the game
Their finishing was dire though otherwise it would have probably ended up all square.
City have had the rub of the green, specially that flappy bird of goalkeeper who flaps at every cross and the amunt of time the ball landed at their player, and not the opposition with the goal wide open is astonishing.
The luck will change but Pep knows that.
Still, City are the team to beat

UNited stood off City and City walked all over them. 2nd half they were far more in their faces and it was an even contest which Utd could have drawn.
If Spurs play well, we will not give them the same time and space Utd did. City will not have the luxury of knocking it around with the freedom of our pitch.
City are very dangerous, as a team and individuals. We will really have to play well.
My fear is that we will be able to contain them quite well but lack the clinical finishing to take our chances.
An away at Moscow will not help our cause.
I would take a drawn

City should have been 3 or 4 up by half time against Utd. We lost some edge in the 2nd half after the calamity of that goal gifted by Bravo.
I think Spurs will be the toughest team we've played so far (sorry Celtic) and I think Spurs will take all three points.

When has a gk who won the ball ever had a pen given against them? And it was only one foot and no studs showing when he made contact with the ball
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Moutha-Sebtaoui in the Academy derby last week.
Played the ball then took the player out. Got sent off. Quite funny considering what just happened in the senior derby.
City, I admit, can be vulnerable at times and we find clean sheets difficult to come by, so I expect Spurs to exploit that. I think this game will show both teams where they're at. A win for Spurs will give them real confidence to mount a serious title challenge. As this is City's most difficult game to date, 3 points will show the rest of the PL they really mean business.
In reality, it'll probably be somewhere in the middle and a stalemate, and I'd probably snatch your hand off for a point.
I'm worried and don't think we will get a result, but I don't often have faith against city.
Aguero scores for fun against us, we will really need Toby and Jan to be on top form.

I agree with your worries - Citeeeh is a big test. And, do we go to Moscow during the midweek before Citeeeh or not?
And will we have Dier back? Or Sissoko? Or Dembele?
And will Janssen start scoring, or is all our scoring down to Son now that Kane's out?
And has Alli lost his shine?

City have had a perfect start agreed, but they have had just about the kindest fixture list imaginable. Only the United game away was in anything like a game that could be classed as semi difficult. They come to WHL in much the same position as last season, so we shall see how good they really are.
