Deleting someone with an opinion is wrong.

I don't want him on my thread, that's my choice.

Anyone expect vegimite to step into the gap, plenty of alternative products available.

I suppose it's all down to which multinational conglomerate ownes them.

Despite what is being reported, Unilever import many commodities from the EU (and the US). As imports are purchased in Euros and Dollars importing costs have gone up. Fundementially due to the poor performance/value of the pound.

This will affect all UK imports unless the pound starts to improve.

Ironically both the CBI and the UK Retail Consortium forecast this would happen during the referendum. It was regretfully deemed to be scaremongering.

The progressive left seem happy to hold this view when it's aligned with their own agenda.

Not so much when it isn't. Like when the majority of the voting public voted to leave the EU, against the wishes of the voting minority... Then all the kids started throwing their toys out and - rather ironically - demonstrating the fascist tendencies of the student left.

But he has a view over brexit. You don't like him I get it and he doesn't help himself but his opinion is valid.

Again my choice my article, if he wishes to discuss the subject he was free to post a thread on it.

How about:
Walls, Carte D'or, Viennetta, Knorr, Bovril, Colman's, PG Tips, Hellmann's, Ben & Jerry's, Flora, Bertolli, Magnum to name a few more.

The Lambeau Leap

A free market is great but when the currency has been reduced in value by circa 20%, it matters not where you import from. In the short term businesses may be able to absorb some of these costs. But unless the pound starts to improve there’s very little UK businesses can do.
