You keep mentioning Freedman, Perton, but I haven't seen his name mentioned anywhere?

That appointment would make Morgans decision to replace MM with TC look like the work of a true footballing genius.

Paul Ince, apparently....

If the papers are to be believed...

Funny as feck....

One of the most useless 'managers' EVER!

Did you post that from the Sandwell KKK division headquarters?

He's the hottest favourite since Shergar (before he ended up in cans).

He's busy by the pool in some swanky Dubai hotel, tipping some Bangladeshi slave to the tune of 5 pence out of his £2m pay-off.

I didn't expect Allardyce as I don't think he would be prepared to work under the constraints of the current regime.

I was expecting Silva tbh.

Sometimes a manager and a club make a perfect fit. Howe and Bournemouth are such a match.

Howe went to Burnley, and it didn't work out, hence his return to the south coast, where he continues to work happily.

Sam isn't coming - still has the spectre of a lifetime ban hanging over his enormous meatball of a head.

He does have a massive head and resemble a Rottweiler but this is what the players admire !

Come on little Jeff, don't let Halfy down now ?!?

Bute, money talks, big enough bait and he will come, nobody is that loyal or that perfect a fit.

Rottweiler

I knew it was a mix of fâgggót and grizzly bear. Obviously, that is how rottweilers originated.

Is this Fosun ditching Mendez?

Hope so.

To answer the original question firstly I should make it clear that I am 100% against the sacking of Walter Zenga. I think that given sufficient time he would have got these players producing the kind of results that we all want. On a more serious note I think it also shows what an unstable bunch our new owners are. I believe appointing Walter Zenga was a hasty decision and sacking him an even hastier decision smacking of a knee jerk reaction to several disappointing results. This performance from Fosun makes Morgan's decision to sack Mick timely and well considered and I for one now have grave doubts about the whole Chinese ownership situation.
Jeff Shi? Wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw Jez Moxey!
Nevertheless, what is done is done and so now we have to move on to a new Head Coach.
Should we go for Big Sam? Absolutely not! Although undoubtedly the most suitable candidate as far as footballing managerial knowledge is concerned, do Fosun want to associate themselves with someone so recently sacked and publicly disgraced? If their answer to that is yes then That would be further evidence of their naiivity.

So who would I like to see take over at Wolves? Andre Villas Boas. He is Portugese and speaks fluent English so no communication problems with the players. He has experience of football in England and indeed prem experience. He is smart, savvy, ambitious and has been trained by some of the best.
Whether he could be persuaded to come back to the UK would depend on if he was prepared to uproot his family from Portugal but if so I believe that he may be our best option.
