Again Cereal you just implied your ignorance! If you notice, test cricket is on decline as people don't have time to watch in person for 5 DAYS.. It is easier to comment on our laptop/phones then spend time like that.. It's not only India but most of the world except may be England or Aus..

You may differ with my opinion but majority of people watch cricket on weekends instead of weekdays.. that is why I will see such attendance on a week day.

We still love test cricket but folks watch on tv/computers more.

In regards to shorter formats, they are planned mainly on holidays/weekend or late start etc..
