Who can be so busy they can't write 'NYC hates Trump' on a piece of green A4 paper at home before leaving the house, and has to make their sign on the street with nothing hard to lean on

But he is ur president if u live in the US

Given how divisive the campaign was, protests were inevitable.

Protesting will not change the result, they seem to be peaceful, so let them vent their anger.

seriously will he build the wall though???

posted on 10/11/16

No. It's completely impossible (wall).

We're likely to find out over the next 2/3 months how much of DT's promises were rhetoric, or not.

I understand his pledge to ban muslim's from entering the US has now been removed from his campaign website.

losers indeed! people always expecting it their way in a democracy are those who don't get the concept of democracy in the first place. i bet these losers just cant believe he won despite him having the world media against him.

You must live in Tottenham if you think overturning cars and setting them on fire is peaceful....

Oh no...don't protest in a democratic free country

Trump has already climbed down from his racist rhetoric, has asked everyone to help him, and is trying to unite a nation he helped divide.

Same old same old.......he's become a politician already

I say fack it.......could be a laugh under Trump
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's amazing that the idiots fell for all his rhetoric. Funny how Trump hasn't mentioned anything about the corruption of the voting since he's won.

Trump will be nothing more than a puppet, and a figure of ridicule.

I think that’s true to an extent, however he has the full weight of congress and the house behind him. The GOP have a majority in both.

If theres one thing being a Spurs fan teaches you its how to deal with continual disappointment, I find bad losers childish and ridiculous.

The Scottish referendum, Brexit and now Trump has brought out the worst in some of the defeated. If you can't handle democracy then go and live in North Korea.

He's not the president they voted for, but constitutionally he is the president.

There were large areas where the majority of people voted democrat.

Now the climbdown from rhetoric I get. He has managed to garner many votes with that rhetoric, just like the stuff about - "taking back control" and "350m to the NHS"

What will result is a lot different.

It's funny how you get anti Trump voters shouting out "he's not my president" however if an anti Obama person said that during Obama's reign they'd be called a bigot or racist or whatever.

So you 'get' Trump doing it, yet have raged for months about the leave campaign doing the same.

Stop trying to speculate on something that may or may not have happened and turn this article into a race isssue.
I'm sure i saw white, black and other nationalities in these protest against Trump, it's not a race thing, it's a 'wtf has happened thing'.

Terminator1

Trump is a serial liar. If/when he does not follow through on his pledges, or if they are unhappy with his administration, the electorate can democratically vote him out.

In regard to Brexit, there was/is no accountability. As most people were largely uninformed, (in regard to the UK’s relationship with the EU) both campaigns could say and pledge whatever suited their campaign, with no culpability.

Didn't expect so many people getting taken in by rhetoric, but at least you're finally admitting to it.

Only if they were racist or a bigot
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No that's simply not true Galv, for example people in the UK who voted to leave the EU are all put into the same bracket, same applies to the anti Trump voters, anyone who voted for Trump is considered a racist by many on the left.
