I'm ashamed to say I can't noble . Been going since I was bout 4 lol.
Michael Owen - what a player he was. Often forgotten because he has such a dreary voice and awful punditry style. Was absolutely heartbroken when he left Liverpool.
Easy..
Sami Hyppia v Sheff Wed. Game is better remembered for Gerrards first goal for Liverpool. 4-1.
Didier Drogba against Arsenal (how fitting).
2005 Community Shield
Northern ireland came first. 1984. A bloke called George Iorgulescu scoring a quite lovely own goal at Windsor in a 3-2 NI victory.
Some 19year old kid called Hagi equalised shortly after it seems. :

For Liverpool it was Ray Houghton at maine Rd in a 1988 FA cup game:

Think it was Kevin bond against Huddersfield I was 7 we got beat at home in division two.
Darren Anderton followed by Teddy Sheringham in 2-1 win over Everton in 93 I think? Maybe 94.
For United, it was Paul Scholes in a friendly at Windsor Park, Yorke got a hattrick the first time I saw us score at Old Trafford in about 2000 against Derby County. First goal I saw Northern Ireland score was Iain Dowie against Latvia in '95. We went on to lose 2-1, unsurprisingly
Bryan Robson 1-1 draw vs Leeds at Old Trafford in the last season before PL started.
I have very little recollection of the game as I was 6 but my dad remembers it well. Iv barely missed a home league match since that day and I'm now 31.

I couldn't remember the first scorer, but know the first live game I went to I was 8 and saw United lose 3-2 to Derby at OT
It was when Wanchope scored a from a worldy run from the half way line, I remember thinking he was going to be a world superstar, was awesome that day
Googled and Ashley Ward got the first goal of that game.
no but I remember the first scorer against us. steve stone. the bald headed caaaaant.
flukey cross shot as spurs slumped to a dismal 1-0 home defeat by notts forest in my first game. pretty sure it was in 1995.
John Duncan v Oldham div 2 77/78 season
We won 5-1

I fecking hated that game
1 up. No problem against the minnows, bang, bang we are 2-1 down. Those dropped points cost us a place at the euros as ROI pipped us to 2nd.
David Platt to equalise against Bolton
Bergkamp then scores a beautiful winner to ensure Arsenal finish above Tottenham and qualify for Europe... haven't finished below them since

Being the penalty taker helped, mind.

Wanchope didn't even know what he was doing on that run. Just got into a position to shoot somehow, and took that early and all to surprise the keeper
Chelsea v LFC 1948 we lost 3-1 and I think Paisley Moran played and I remember it was fracking cold, that was before the cover's was built.
I can barely remember the game let along the goal scorer. It was Leeds V Liverpool I remember that as I was at my uncles in Leeds at the time as he tried to convert me to a Leeds fan like all the family (but never did ). Liverpool lost, I think it was before the creation of the PL. possibly div 1. To be honest never really took any of it in. I was only 7 or 8 at the time.
Liverpool 3 - 0 Newcastle United
Game date:
Wednesday 6 March 2002 at 20:00
Danny Murphy 32'
I believe it was actually Arsenal legend Andy Linighan, in the Coca Cola Cup semi-final second leg against Crystal Palace, on the 10th of March 1993 (my birthday, non-coincidentally). Ian Wright also scored but I'm pretty sure his was the second.
My abiding memory of that game was Lee Dixon waiting to take a throw with a player down injured started playing catch with members of the crowd, including me! He was my favourite player for a while after that.
