I appreciate FMJ's skills and his technical ability, don't get me wrong, but I prefer a fight. Bowers hitting each other, going toe to toe, taking punches etc....

I'm sure the boxing purists out there prefer watching a technical mastercalss...I dont

Fans enjoy certain fighters and certain types of fights. Not everyone likes the way Fury fights but I bet he still has a lot of fans that enjoy his fights. The same goes for guys like Rigo.

I take your point about tactical battles and I do believe they can be fascinating. Don't think Pac v Floyd was one of them.

Just my opinion obviously but Pac was extremely disappointing on the night. Whether that's injury or mayweathers ability is up for debate (not one I want btw!).

I think even amongst boxing purists you're probably in the minority in enjoying that bout. Nothing wrong with that of course.

Getting back to Ward vs Kovalev I think it's going to be a great fight. Hopefully it sets a template for the very best fighters to actually start fighting each other in their primes like these two have.

Personally I'm not bothered about PPV, means nothing to me as a spectator. I just want to see the very best fight each other in their primes and we're definitely getting that here.

this is generally the view from 99% of pac fans or the mayweather haters because the fighter they were rooting for lost fighter lost, fans of mayweather gt what they expected, a pretty comfortable shutout win

Nothing much wrong with saying that Mayweather vs Pac was an awful fight from a spectator's point of view. It wasn't good at all. Mayweather tapped and ran all night and Pac was supposedly injured so it doesn't take a genius to work out that it was never going to be a classic.

If people are worried that this fight might be more of the same then I don't think you have to worry at all. Unlike May v Pac this fight genuinely has the makings of a classic encounter with everything in place to make it one. Let's hope it delivers.

I enjoy most fights, whether they're technical affairs or wars.

But Mayweather v Pacquiao was a dull fight, and a major let down as most of us thought it would be with both of them being past their prime.
