The Wembley excuse has been well blown out the water by the absolute rubbish we've been away from home.

Wembley isn't the problem it's the players showing no passion, commitment or anything

You honestly think we'd have lost twice at WHL in the CL, when we've not been beaten there in the league this season?

Definitely angry typing that

Unlucky though with injuries. With one of your CBs you'd have been much stronger.

When we used to be missing Ferd and Vidic, we struggled in Europe sometimes. Although Evans and Pique were decent backups.

Luckily Leicester and Arsenal will keep the coefficient points up. City as well.

Now blaming pre season for going out of the easiest CL group ever, keep them coming πŸ˜‚

No I'm saying it's part to blame why the players aren't hitting the same form we did last year.

I know it's hard for you to understand

Disagree, home advantage is much more apparent in Europe and we have no home advantage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Playing at Wembley doesn't mean you can't make simple passes or lose concentration.

I might say yep okay first game maybe but the second was worse than that.

Players lack any mental ability that's why
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't disagree with what you said, but I still feel Wembley is a factor. The players would have more confidence at home IMO.

I guess we'll have a better idea next season. That will be fun.

Rodgers MKII comparisons are obviously tongue in cheek but he also rested key players in a crunch away CL game, in preparation for a league match vs Chelsea. Uncanny resemblance.

We lost both matches I should add.

Stick to the topic people

Regarding Wembley, the players/media/fans are using it as a cop out as usual. A professional player should still be able to do the basics. Furthermore, our players should be excited by playing at wembley in front of 80,000+ spurs fans. Poor excuse

It's FAR too early in the season to even hint about Poch's job.

Disappointing start to the season, but we've been without Kane, Lamela, Toby, Dembele for large chunks of matches. Alli looks tired. Eriksen...dunno..confidence? But all in all, this isn't the team of last year. Yet (I hope!).

That being said. His handling of cups has been a joke. including last season.

I would've to agree with Edin there, Spurs had a very poor transfer window. Your squad os icredibly thin to be competing on all competition. But Darth Levy runs the club on tight budget, you need losen the purse if the club has any ambition to grow as a club
