problem is, will we be patient enough, or continue making poor decision having pops from long range not committing men into the box just because they've flooded it.

started to look a bit more incisive in the last 5 or so minutes so hopefully we come back after half time in the same vein

got to agree with above, sunder will tire, they are doing a MASSIVE amount of running, its whether or not we are patient enough.

We are not doing too much wrong, bit like the utd game...8 defenders at all times.

Thats 135 minutes now we've gone without scoring a goal. From hitting them in at will to struggling against packed defences, we seem to have gone from one extreme to another. Lallana is badly missed and the midfield balance isn't quite right. Coutinho's injury is also a big blow.

However one moment is all it takes.

That couts injury,, i had something similar...really painful at the time but after a few days you can get back out there!

Awful half, got better at the end but seriously how poor are Sunderland and this commentator praising everything they do is part of the reason England are so crap!!

Still think we need signings in January, Coutinho looks out for a while and without Lallana there's nothing connecting midfield and attack.

am not panicking yet we just need to keep it tight and get one goal and I reckon we will be up and running again

We didn't struggle against Southampton at all.

We had 4 great chances, just missed them.

Still think we will.score if they keep defending so deep and tire.

Just got to keep plugging away and being more efficient with the ball.

Couts injury is a major low. Our best player at unlocking defences off and looking like it could be a nasty one.

Lallana will be back in a week or so. Anyway we score the opener today and we may well end up with 3 or 4

main man for thats out for the season now, Sturridge didnt even make the bench, hes not even played and got himself injured.
