QPR are due a massive home win. They also have a poor record against us at Loftus Road since I last went there in 1984. Never been so cold at a football match but those were the days when we would travel in designer jumpers whatever the weather. You would only wear a jacket if it was Aquascutum, Burberry, Ralph Lauren or Armani.

Have 5 stars for the early start. Every hour it is late after 9am on a match day sees the loss of a star.

Thank god you're back Halfy. I hold you entirely responsible foe the terrible result on Saturday. I expect much better tonight.

So Herb was a casual. I've never got that, designer (read Brownhills maket knock offs and 2 year old Matalan left overs) gear and caps.

Dressing up smart is for going out and impressing the laydeeez, not standing behind a fat bald bloke with your arms wide apart.

Probably swap Bod or Dicko for Edwards and tell him to play in support of the striker and press high up the pitch.

I think Bod and Dicko will be the future partnership, but when I have seen them play together so far this season, it hasn't really worked. As we are in a bad patch, I would be reluctant to go with them both until we started to pick up some momentum.

Otherwise, I agree. Lambert won't pick that though, he never picks two wingers.

That's like holding up Castro as a shining example for dictators ahead of Pol Pot.

Could live with that, Mason would have been my choice behind bod/dicko but presumably he is injured.

Not seen much of bod and dicko as yet though.

How is Saville our leading goal scorer? He scored 1 goal in the opening match against Rotherham and has done the square root of zero since. Our leading goal scorer is Helda Costa followed by Dave Edwards and Joe Mason.

In the calendar year Gem, Saville has 6 goals.

Totally irrelevant. Last season's goals have no bearing on our current league position.
Here's an idea, let's go back to 1959 and see who is the leading goal scorer since I've been a Wolves fan

I agree it isn't relevant, but it does highlight how pathetic we have been as an attacking force.

I remember last season DJ among others saying Kenny had no choice but to defend as we didn't have a striker as Siggy is terrible.....well.......tonight if Bod doesn't score he will surpass Siggy's much ridiculed scoreless streak last season.

That tells me the problem isn't the strikers at all but it is the supply line.

I agree that the supply is lacking and have been calling for a creative playmaker in central midfield since the start of the season.
It is also interesting to note that in the first 4 games we scored 8 goals. Bod scored 2 of those and both whilst Joe Mason was playing. Mason also scored 2 himself. This also highlights the need for someone supporting the striker and Mason is the best we have in that role. The sooner he returns from injury, the better.
