Curtley Ambrose at 80 is a joke
1. Bradman
2. Sobers
Then I'm guessing Warne in at 3?
Kallis should be in the top5 easily.
Kallis is behind Sobers and Imran in terms of great all rounders.

yes. Kallis was a top batsmen who could bowl a bit. Sobers and Khan were better overall athletes.
Boycott at 30 is high, when you think S Waugh is down at 70.

Steve Waugh wasn't a "great" cricketer though. Certainly not in terms of natural ability. His leadership skills and the ability to produce an innings when needed is what elevated him. His brother was miles ahead of him in ability, Steve just had the mental game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Junior had the talent but his record was average compared to Steve's. S Waugh was also a great captain.

Steve Waugh also in 99 world cup more or less took the Aussies from the brink of elimination to world champions which started the Aussie one world cup domination.

Kind of what I just said.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But Steve's mental toughness and excellent captaincy record help make him a 'great' cricketer. There should be no debate in that!

Great all round cricketer maybe. I wouldn't have him any higher than the 70 he is though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
70 is fine, but when I think of Boycott at 30, then it sounds wrong. Sir Geoffrey was a great opener but still..........
10. Imran Khan
9. Viv Richards
These 2 would be in the top 5 for me. Both amazing in both forms of the game, great captains and leaders.
Imran one of the best bowlers of all time
Viv one of the best batsman of all time
Both very successful
Imran could bat and Viv could bowl.
10. Imran Khan
9. Viv Richards
8. Sydney Barnes
7. Jack Hobbs
6. Jaques Kallis
I would always have Imran above Kallis in any era. Kallis was a brilliant batsman but was a decent bowler. Imran would get in the team in both facets.
So who's left?
Sachin, Warne, Bradman, Sobers and one more?
