5. Shane Warne
4. Sachin Tendulkar
3. Sir Garfield Sobers
2. W.G Grace
1. Sir Donald Bradman
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Grace should be number 5 of that list.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree but that's what I think it'll be

Loooking back at the list. Bedser and Trueman ahead of the best quick of all time (Marshall)?
Is this one of Wahl's lists?
Steve Waugh -70 but Ponting at 33rd?

I thought this list is about better cricketers... Which means contributed more to the respective team's success.

I've no qualms with Ponting being ahead of Waugh. I take it this list takes all three formats into consideration, which will add to Ponting's clout?
Name one extra ability Ricky has over Steve?

Better puller?
Compared to Steve's bowling and captaincy... It's nothing.
That list was certainly prepared by Wahl.

Ponting was a better bat that Steve, and a successful captain, though not as good as Steve. Ponting was also a much better ODI batsman. I'd personally have Waugh about 10 places higher.

Ponting was also one of the best fielders ever in the game.

Non place for Ricky in that hall of fame list albeit they only considered test cricket.
Punter hasn't been retired for 5 years has he?

Of course he will. Look at the names already there. He'd have to commit murder to not get in.
