As far as potential and in particular cost, Rob Holding, (a steal at around £2m) for me has been, and will be a fantastic signing for Arsenal.
I would put Ibrahimovic in the top 5. 14 goals in 24 appearances with a few of them winners.

Good shout - chelsea then leicester? He didn't play that much but nice stat for him!
Who was the Leicester player last year who won the championship and premier league?!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Andy King, he won league one with them aswell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope it wasnt him.
Purely for the money paid Pogba has to be up there.
Agree with Sissoko and Jansen, shocking so far!
It was Ritchie De Laet you are talking about, but Middlesborough ended up finishin runners up in the end.
Juande, does Schwarzer really count with Chelsea? He left us by January that season and didn't play a single game.
AVB is more a CL winner than Mark is a title winner for Chelsea.

Great knowledge Edin

Making me blush
I love articles which have lists but they do have a flaw
If you had asked Spurs fans how good Bale was after he had been with us for a year they would have said he was trash.....Hmmmmmmmm
Awful signing is ridiculous thing to say.
Hasn't lived up to his price tag granted however he us 23 has created our most chances and we are looking much better as a team with him in it. I am more than happy we got him, just maybe a bit too much however that is the boards fault not pogbas
-------------------------------------------------------------
See the problem there is that with subtle tweaks to the system, if you'd have bought Kante instead you really wouldn't have been missing all that much without Pogba playing where he is - you'd just have spent 60mil less that could've been put towards other areas of the team.
As I said. Not criticizing Pogba as a player here, massively criticizing the business move in an article highlighting best/worst signings.

Ibra was 6th for me, just missed out because he had a run of games where he missed some easy chances.

Ah yes you're right - he won the PL and promotion, still not bad!
Returning Managers:
I agree with you really, technically he counts but in reality he barely played for either club.
We tried to sign Kante, he'd already agreed to join Chelsea.
If Pogba cost 30m he would be in the list of best signings, although he is a different type of player he has a similar trait Hazard does in that some games he looks bad yet still finds himself top of key passes, dribbles etc.
fair whether vanity player and nothing more
...
Our most creative player so far but yeah ok.

i know they'll be paying him a fortune in wages but he didn't cost anything to bring to the club either, which goes for him.

If given the choice I'd have Pogba all day long. Think he will become a far better player than kante in the next yr or 2 if he isn't already
To be fair he's paid what you'd expect one of the worlds best strikers to be paid. He's on £220k I believe.
How about Isaac Success?
For either category really, if only for his name.
What happened to Eric Bailly? Looked an absolute tank at the start of the season but haven't noticed anything from him recently
We tried to sign Kante, he'd already agreed to join Chelsea.
--------------------------------------------------------------
My point is you'd have had other options out there to fulfill the criteria Pogba does towards United's system for a third of the price. And that money could've been sent on areas of the team which really need addressing, like full backs for instance.
Just my opinion. I wouldn't begrudge any United fan for being happy that Pogba's in the United squad

good shout, spending £15m odd to "upgrade" your keeper and then seeing some of his performances this season must grate.
